ARIS STRUGGLE TO CONQURE ISLANDS

Aris opened her eyes and saw that she was surrounded by various floating islands. They were hanging in the sky at different heights, slowly moving as if they had their own life. The air felt strange and quiet, and for a moment she just stood there, trying to understand where she was.
She stepped closer to the edge of the island she was standing on and looked around. There was another island not too far away. She prepared herself to step onto it.
But before she could move properly, a pack of wolves suddenly attacked her.
They were not normal wolves. Their bodies were huge and looked unnatural. Their eyes were glowing, and their movements were too fast. These were mutated wolves, not simple creatures.
Aris thought she could still use her powers and defeat them easily. She tried to focus and cast a spell.
Nothing happened.
She tried again, but again there was no response.
Then a strange voice interrupted inside her mind.
"System failure. Powers not activated."
Hearing this, Aris trembled. She knew that in the world of gods and devils, there was a system that guided their abilities. If this message appeared, it meant one thing — she didn't have access to her powers.
Her confidence broke instantly.
The wolves jumped at her.
Just when they were about to reach her, a sword suddenly appeared from nowhere and cut through the air, tearing one wolf's head in half. The attack was so fast that Aris couldn't even see who had done it.
Before the remaining wolves could react, the land under them started shaking. A huge ball made of devil divine hellfire rose up and burned the wolves completely. The flames were dark and powerful, not like normal fire.
Within seconds, everything was over.
An old man then appeared from the ground itself. It was as if the earth allowed him to rise. He looked calm, but there was something very powerful about him.
He looked at Aris and said,
"Oh poor girl, what are you doing here? And what is your name?"
Aris was about to say her real name, but she suddenly remembered that Saturn had warned her not to reveal her previous life name or her true identity.
So she replied,
"I didn't have parents since I was born. My name is Ayane."
The old man looked at her carefully, as if he could see through her words.
"Ayane, you look very weak. Come with me. I will give you food and teach you. I will train you."
Aris hesitated and then asked,
"Who are you?"
The old man replied calmly,
"I am the ruler of the five elements. I am also known as the Elemental King."
Aris was shocked. She had heard about him before when she was still a goddess. He was the one who mastered all the elements and controlled both sides of power.
He was a god… and also half devil.
And now, he was standing right in front of her.
