"Damon..."
Elohim repeated the name slowly.
The wind kept moving between them, lightly stirring Damon's clothes while the chaos of the battlefield continued roaring in the distance.
Elohim's eyes did not leave him for even a second.
"So that is the name of the foreign god who has burst into my pantheon," he finally said, with the same calm as before. "A good name, some would say."
Damon did not answer immediately. He only looked at the god cautiously.
After all, Elohim was not just any god.
But even so, he finally spoke.
"I already told you. I didn't come for you. All you have to do is let me go on my way, and all of this ends," Damon said with a smile on his face.
"Let you go?" Elohim repeated. "You struck down one of my sons, disrupted the balance of the battlefield, killed a hundred of my creations, and now you stand before me as if you can choose which rules apply to you and which do not."
Damon let out a low laugh.
"Rules?" he repeated with a hint of disbelief. "Look, I'm sorry if I interrupted some established rule, but that was not my intention. I had no idea about your rules, nor did I want to fall right into the middle of this mess..." Damon let out another small exhale before smiling faintly. "Ahhh... it's always the same type of people who talk about rules that want to put chains on someone."
Elohim's gaze sharpened slightly.
"Do not speak of chains as if you were a victim, boy. If you truly were not a threat, you would have already obeyed."
That time, Damon's smile really disappeared.
"No," Damon replied. "If you truly were not a tyrant disguised as a judge, you would not have tried to lock me up without even knowing me."
Elohim took a step forward.
"Then you leave me no other choice."
Damon tilted his head slightly to the side.
"Funny," he said, while a humorless smile formed once again on his face. "I was thinking exactly the same thing."

Shinto Pantheon
The throne room of the Shinto pantheon was in chaos. Even that word fell short of describing everything that was being felt there.
POV Amaterasu
Everything had gone well until Damon and Kaguya disappeared into that rift.
Amaterasu knew perfectly well where they had fallen.
And knowing it only made her fear grow even more, because she knew very well what kind of beings lived in that place.
The situation had just completely spiraled out of control, and the queen of the Shinto gods truly did not know what to do. When they saw Damon dispose of Kaguya, happiness had been felt throughout the hall.
But that did not last long.
Right now, her power was completely out of control. She was about to rush onto the battlefield to help Damon against Elohim.
But before she could move, Izanami raised a hand and stopped her.
"Ama, don't do it, my daughter."
Amaterasu turned toward her with a frown.
"Mother, are you really going to make me stay here and watch?"
Izanami's voice was firm, though the sadness in it could be felt from miles away.
"If you step in now, this will stop being an isolated fight."
Her eyes stayed fixed on the distant battlefield, where the presence of Damon and Elohim was already beginning to distort the air.
"It will become a war between pantheons."
Amaterasu clenched her jaw.
Izanami did not take her eyes off the scene ahead.
"I know how you feel. And believe me, right now even I can barely resist the urge to go in there and help Damon. How do you think I feel seeing the person I care about so much in danger, after he saved me from losing myself completely in the misery of Yomi...?"
The primordial goddess finished speaking with visible tears in her eyes.
"And after everything Damon did to bring peace to our realm... I doubt he would want to see another sky burn because of him."
For a moment, Amaterasu did not move.
Her power was still surging, but in the end she forced herself to remain where she was.
The same could be said for the other gods and goddesses in the throne room.
Through the training, the conversations, and above all the calming presence of the Greek god, Damon had become a true pillar for all of them.
It was not easy for any of them to just stand there and watch.
After all, if Damon asked them to, they would go to war for him. (Foreshadow ?? :> )))))
Back with Damon
BOOOOMM!!!!
A titanic shockwave resounded across the whole world as if it were a massive explosion, while powerful gusts of wind rose from the clash of Damon's fist against God's.
Elohim's eyes widened when Damon endured his punch as if it were nothing. "No god should withstand that...."
"I am not just one god," Damon said seriously, before both of them disappeared once again.
Multiple explosions kept ringing out, each clash of their fists sounding like thunder striking. This drew everyone's attention, stopping the war below as they all stood stunned by the magnitude of the collision they were witnessing, even Lucifer, who had not expected the Greek to push the old man this far.
The only thing they could see were two flashes of light colliding everywhere....
"You are delusional if you think you can defeat me," God declared as he landed a devastating kick to Damon's chest, sending him flying through the sky at dizzying speed.
Damon stabilized himself using his control over the air and the sky and created several hurricanes that he sent toward God. He, in turn, used his own control to undo or evade them. These storms and hurricanes wreaked havoc everywhere, with lightning crashing down all over the place.
Damon clicked his tongue. Fighting against a god who had better or similar control over the sky was certainly annoying.
the blond thought, vanishing in a flash as he dodged Elohim's attacks
"It seems I truly will not be able to simply restrain you with my fists. You are more than I expected. You are forcing me to use what I do not wish to use," God said, watching Damon from the corner of his eye.
And just like that, God stretched out his hands, letting his power flow. A gigantic pressure began to make itself felt, to the surprise of the observers, especially Lucifer, who had never seen his father truly use his power before.
All beings connected to the biblical God throughout the world were being overwhelmed in their minds by the presence of the true GOD.
Surrounded by pure light, God created seven gigantic spears of light and sent them forward at faster-than-light speed.
Damon had already expected it.
He opened his hand, and in front of him the air compressed into seven invisible layers of monstrous pressure. The spears of light pierced through the first, then the second, but they lost enough of their angle.
It was more than enough.
With a single movement of his arm, Damon diverted the path of all seven....
A gigantic explosion resounded in the sky. The pure power of the biblical god saturated the heavens like a tide of light overflowing in all directions.
But Damon had already moved.
His figure shot toward Elohim, releasing his own power explosively while countering the massive pressure that was crushing the surroundings. And without stopping his advance, he raised a hand.
A black sphere began to form over his palm.
The destructive energy compressed inside it was so dense that even the space around it began to distort.
Elohim's eyes showed genuine surprise. He had not expected destructive energy to come from that god. Up until that moment, he had assumed Damon was nothing more than a god of air and sky.
But he was not just that.
The sheer energy compressed within that sphere was enough to erase an entire human continent.
Damon smiled.
And threw it.
The black sphere shot forward like a sentence of damnation, tearing through the sky straight toward Elohim.
Elohim reacted instantly. He raised a hand, and an immense layer of light emerged before him, wrapping itself around the sphere with force. Then, with a sharp motion of his hand, he redirected its trajectory and hurled it into space.
Until it vanished into the darkness.
A second later, the entire sky was dyed black beneath an explosive glow.
The explosion was silent from below, but so gigantic that even from Earth a scar of light could be seen opening in the darkness for an instant.
Elohim slowly lowered his hand.
His gaze remained fixed on Damon, far more serious than before.
"So in addition to everything else..." he said in a cold, heavy voice. "You also carry destruction."
But before Damon could respond, all his senses exploded with warning.
Two monstrous presences, approaching his position at absurd speed.
Damon barely managed to recognize what they were.
And before he could even move, two voices thundered through the sky at the same time.
"Boost, boost—!"
"Divide, divide—!"
