Two Months Later…
Reika stood quietly on top of the castle wall while staring at the evening sky above the Kingdom of Shugia.
"Ahh… it's been two months now since we came into this world."
A small sigh escaped his lips.
"A lot has happened since then…"
He leaned against the wall slightly.
"And not to mention I've been protecting Shina after becoming the Knight Vice Captain of this kingdom."
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Really… I have come a long way since I came here."
His gaze slowly drifted upward.
"Shina is my top priority now."
His expression hardened slightly.
"I have to protect her at all costs."
A brief silence followed.
"Since we came here…Shina hasn't really improved much."
He frowned slightly.
"She received the same blessing as me from the same Grandmaster…"
A confused look crossed his face.
"I wonder why she still hasn't awakened her powers yet."
His fist clenched slightly.
"Anyway"
"I swore to protect her and I will protect her."
A soft smile appeared on his face.
"Since we started dating honestly she's the perfect lady."
He looked away awkwardly.
"Her smile is divine…"
A small laugh escaped him.
"Ahhh… what an angel she is."
Reika shook his head.
"Anyways…"
"How are the others doing?"
His thoughts slowly drifted toward the people who entered this world alongside him.
"They're definitely getting stronger like crazy…"
He laughed lightly
"Hahaha…"
"If I ever run into one of them again, I have to be strong too."
His expression became thoughtful
"I don't know how they're living their lives right now…"
"Or if their personalities have changed."
He crossed his arms slowly
"Well… that's not what I need to worry about."
"I just need to become strong enough to protect Shina."
His eyes sharpened
"And I will make sure she awakens her powers too…"
"So she can protect herself even when I'm not around."
Reika slowly looked down at his hand
"I awakened my own Ultimate Ability weeks after receiving my blessing."
His voice lowered slightly.
"It's called…"
"Apostle of Purity."
A calm wave of holy energy flickered around his body briefly before fading
"It's really powerful…"
"But I still haven't fully mastered it yet."
Its sub-abilities were:
Purity Dominion.
Absolute Cleanse Sin.
Reflection Eye of True Purity.
Sacred Flame of Origin.
and World of Baptism.
Reika's expression slowly became serious.
"They're all powerful…"
"But what scares me the most is World of Baptism."
He narrowed his eyes slightly.
"I can create an entire domain where corruption is stripped away…"
"False authorities collapse…"
"Artificial power systems destabilize…"
"And only true strength remains."
He paused for a moment before laughing lightly.
"I would say it's broken…"
"But not really."
He shook his head slowly.
"Because those three people are on a whole different level than me."
Then he quietly spoke their names.
"Dranexx Waltarnabi…"
"Lenshi Akube…"
"And Lisa Shuwatani."
His expression immediately became tense.
"I can't really do much against them if they've truly mastered their abilities."
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Dranexx and Akube are already trouble…"
A bitter smile appeared on his face.
"Especially Dranexx."
"That guy is a complete monster."
He remembered that moment clearly.
"To think he was actually about to go one-on-one against a Grandmaster and not just any Grandmaster…One of the strongest among the Top Seven."
Reika sighed deeply.
"That alone explains why I have zero chance of beating Dranexx."
He laughed helplessly.
"Even back in our old world I never managed to beat that dude."
His eyes narrowed slightly.
"Now in this world he's carrying two insane Ultimate Abilities."
"I call that completely OP."
His thoughts shifted toward Akube.
"As for Akube…"
"He received the blessing of the Celestial Grandmaster."
Reika smiled slightly.
"That's honestly cool as hell,I mean that's literally the same Grandmaster Dranexx wanted to fight and she's among the Top Seven strongest."
He chuckled lightly.
"If Akube already awakened his Ultimate Ability…Then yeah…He's going to be ridiculously powerful."
Lisa came to mind.
Reika's expression became uneasy.
"Then there's Lisa…She received the blessing of the Grandmaster of Amatarasu,The second strongest outside the Top Seven."
His voice lowered slightly.
"Amatarasu is trouble."
"I've read about those flames in novels before,Those black flames burn through almost anything…and completely reduce their targets to ashes."
He shook his head slowly "There's no way I can compete with them right now."
Then after a moment he smiled slightly.
"But…If I continue getting stronger,I might stand a chance "He raised one finger jokingly"A chance of surviving against Lisa at least."
A nervous laugh escaped him.
"But Akube and Dranexx?"
He immediately shook his head.
"No way."
"They're too OP for me."
Then his expression slowly hardened.
"I seriously pray they never become my enemies someday…Because that would become a massive problem."
His fist clenched tightly once more.
"I need to become strong enough that even a Grandmaster would acknowledge me."
His eyes burned with determination.
"I will reach that level…For the sake of protecting Shina."
Reika pushed himself off the wall.
"On that note…Time to head out for training."
A small grin formed on his face.
"If I want to become stronger…Then I need to train every single day and challenge worthy opponents."
Immediately someone came to mind.
"Oh…The Captain would do."
He began walking toward the training grounds calmly.
"I'll go train with him."
