Chapter 2 - To the magic academy

"Isaac you know what you have to do right?"

Vincent, the hevenhat lord said in a low growl.

"yeah... its weird though, i thought twins were supposed to look out for each other"

At his comment lady Evelyn shot him a glare at the comment.

breathing a heavy sigh, she leaned back in her chair her arms crossed seemingly in thought then she spoke

"just do as your told..." she paused for a moment and continued "and watch over your brother...please"

she said with a pleading look.

"don't worry mother, i can at least keep the second and third years of his neck"

"Good"

Vincent said in his low voice

"it may not solve the issue with his peers, but it at least keep his seniors at bay"

if one were to ask a 100 people who Isaac hevenhat was, 80 percent of them would tell you of his stories, regardless one were students from the academy, adventurers or civilans, they would recount his 'stories of legend'.

Not only is he popular for being from one of the seven great houses, but also for his exploits and adventures during his time at the most prestigious academy.

Being the student council president of said academy only seems to add to the list, as it is only given to the best of the best in the entire school.

with the position comes power equal to that of an earl. Of all things to so with the power that come with being student council president, he decides to use it to stop bullying for one purpose only and that is to protect his little brother.

"if only lily..."

Isaac didn't finish accounting for the daggers his mother was glaring at him

looking at mother and son Vincent could only sigh and think of his only daughter

'they should just reconcile already.'

...

"young master the carriage is waiting"

sigh! ill be right there

After getting dressed he walked towards the conner of his bed and picked up a slightly curved sword still in it sheath.

Due to the fact he had no mana his father trained him to use a sword since he was 5 , of course he could not use any sword arts nor did he have the strength and speed of someone with mana.

That alone speaks for itself, considering the fact that everyone was born with mana. He was literally the weakest in existence and now he is being forced to go to a school with a 1000 children his age who could kill him if they so wished it.

After grabbing the sword he stepped out of the room where Ciel was waiting for him. She would be accompanying him to school as she was his personal maid and his shadow.

"you look good young master"

'sigh! she still wont all me by my name'

"thank you Ciel, what of brother"

"he is waiting in the carriage"

"alright" he said as they started walking

They passed through the hall of scrutinizing gazes of past heads of the house

'sorry, guess you guys can't judge me when am not around' he thought with a faint smile touching his lips as he gazed at few of them.

they quickly made their way to the front yard of the mansion where a carriage was waiting with his parents standing next to it.

Ciel handed their luggage to the carriage driver and he added it to the back of the carriage where he had previously placed Isaac's luggage

"Lucius come give mummy a hug before you leave"

before he could even speak he was already in his mother embrace. of course she had to hold back her strength.

"mother i have to go" he said trying to pull himself away but of course that would not work.

he had to rely on his father to be free from her embrace

"he has to go to school Evelyn

"hmph cant a mother hug her child"

she said while releasing me

'i swear it not like his a child he's 15 for God sake' he thought while looking at his wife

"Lucius remember to write back constantly okay?"

"...okay"

"and remember if anything happens you can always talk to your brother alright?"

"...right"

watching his wife talk to their 15 year old child like he was 7 he could only sigh through his nose.

'well its not as though he could beat a 7 year old'

he thought showing a look of worry on his once stern face.

pulling lucius aside the only thing he could do was give his son some advice.

after while he finally got in the carriage where his brother had been waiting. The carriage finally took of as he looked at the mansion slowly fade away while his parents waved them of.

"Do you think hell be okay" said lady Evelyn her voice laced with worry

"he's a strong kid, he'll be fine"

"did you see something?"

"you wouldn't believe it..."

"no... don't tell me"

she said as she turned back to head inside the

"sigh! guess she wants him to tell her himself"

'he's going to be just fine'

he thought, looking at where the carriage once was, before heading back inside.
