Scarlett's POV
By the afternoon, I finally finished getting dressed. I chose a well-fitted emerald dress that felt sophisticated but easy to move in. When I walked downstairs, Leonard was waiting for me near the front entrance, looking sharp in a fresh black button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms.
Without saying much, he led me outside. We got into his luxury sports car, and he drove for about ten minutes in silence, leaving the pack house behind. He pulled up and parked in front of a stunning, modern building hidden deep within a private, gated area of the woods.
"Where is this?" I asked, looking up at the beautiful structure.
"My personal home," Leonard replied smoothly, switching off the engine. "I stay here whenever I want to be away from the pack house and the rest of the world."
