First of all, I want to thank everyone who has supported this story so far. Whether you've left a comment, offered advice, pointed out something that could be improved, or given me criticism, I appreciate it. All three are necessary for a writer to grow, and I'm grateful to everyone who has taken the time to help me along the way.
Now, onto the announcement!
There will be one more full book. I promise no more, no less. Not because I lack ideas, but because life is unpredictable, and I have a bad habit of following its example by getting distracted along the way. So, rather than promise a whole series I might not be able to deliver, I'll promise you the next book.
The prologue is planned for publication sometime next month. However, the actual story won't begin immediately after that. I want to have a few more chapters written and ready before I start releasing them. That way, I can maintain a buffer, work with less stress, and—perhaps most importantly—actually enjoy the writing process instead of constantly worrying about the next update.
I'm also deliberately taking my time with this one. I've always disliked fanfics with annoyingly short chapters, and I have no intention of becoming the very thing I complain about! I'd rather take a little longer and give you chapters that feel worth the wait than rush them out just to keep a schedule.
So, thank you again for reading, supporting, advising, and criticizing. I hope you'll join me for the next part of Alex's journey. There's more to explore, more magic to uncover, and a new school year waiting just around the corner.
