Mira did not get the chance to process that.
The sound of footsteps resounded heavily in the air and diverted both her and Hye Yang's attention to where it came from.
"The Ruling Oracle is ready to see you." The man who approached them said. It was the same warrior leader who met Mira at Ming Tao's home with his men.
Mira felt saliva run down her throat as she gulped. She did not want to face the ruling oracle. She had never had to meet them before but from the rumours that circulated amongst the beast people, they were fearful members.
[ First time for everything, host! ] System chimed.
It was now Mira realised that system had been quiet for way too long. System gave her no tasks nor did system bug her about a lot of things, she did not know if she should worry or be happy she's safe.
