Chapter 182 - Chapter 182: The Dragon God's Message

Though it was called a banquet, it was really just everyone gathering to eat together and incidentally see how Dan Feng and Roxy's new home was decorated.

After eating and drinking their fill, everyone enthusiastically decided to tour Dan Feng and Roxy's new residence before contentedly ending this pleasant day.

Since Dan Feng needed to clean up the tableware, Roxy led the other three around the house for a look.

The house was very spacious with many rooms—it would take some time to tour everything.

Meanwhile, Dan Feng was busy in the kitchen.

He used Cloud Chant techniques to create many streams of water. These streams, as if alive, tightly enveloped the tableware.

Then, Dan Feng effortlessly washed away all the stains on the utensils, finally placing them neatly into the kitchen cabinets.

After finishing with the tableware, Dan Feng didn't stop. He continued using Cloud Chant techniques to clean the entire dining room.

With a gentle wave of his hands, the water streams swiftly flowed over the tables and floors, rinsing them spotlessly clean before disappearing from the space.

Just as Dan Feng finished everything he needed to do and was about to go find the others to tour the rooms together, he suddenly felt violent shaking from the hidden pocket in his clothes.

Puzzled, Dan Feng reached into the pocket and, with a face full of suspicion, pulled out a ring—it was exactly the ring the Dragon God had given him before for contacting the Dragon God.

The ring emitted a dazzling golden light. However, just as Dan Feng was at a loss, unsure how to turn off the glow, the light abruptly extinguished in an instant, as if it had never appeared.

Immediately after, a low voice came from the ring—it was the voice of the Dragon God Orsted.

"Dan Feng, there's something I need to tell you."

At this moment, the Dragon God Orsted was standing on a cliff in the Red Dragon Mountains. His figure appeared somewhat lonely amid the fierce wind, his silver-white cloak flapping loudly in the gusts.

He gripped the ring tightly in his hand, conversing with Dan Feng.

Beside him lay a fallen red dragon, its body badly mangled and covered in blood on the ground—clearly gravely injured.

This red dragon had originally tried to attack Orsted but was easily pierced through the body by his hand and killed on the spot.

The other red dragons around were filled with fear and wariness toward Orsted. They stared at this terrifying being from afar, not daring to approach lightly.

Hearing Orsted's voice, Dan Feng frowned slightly and responded calmly: "Hm? Orsted? What's the matter?"

The Dragon God Orsted's voice came from the ring again: "Hm, I just suddenly remembered some things—about the apostles of Hitogami that I know of."

"First, among the apostles of Hitogami that I know, several have already been slain by me. Only a few remain, and I'll need your help later."

"Because I carry a curse that makes people hate me, I can't enter cities. Though I could force my way in with strength, that would undoubtedly alert them and let Hitogami notice."

"First is the upper minister in the Asura Kingdom, Darius Silva Ganius, and also the king of the Dragon King Kingdom, Leonardo. But there's no rush to kill these two apostles of Hitogami—even waiting a few more decades is fine."

"Why?" Dan Feng didn't understand—since they were apostles of Hitogami, why was waiting decades not an issue?

"Because in the future, the Demon God needs to descend in the Shirone Kingdom. That requires first turning the Shirone Kingdom into the Shirone Republic, so the position of the Demon God's revival is fixed."

"And building the Shirone Kingdom requires this king of the Dragon King Kingdom, so he can't be killed yet."

"As for Darius, he won't play much of a role for now. If you have time, just kill him when the opportunity arises."

The Dragon God Orsted told Dan Feng about these two apostles of Hitogami that he knew of, hoping Dan Feng could slay them in a dozen or so years.

"Got it." Dan Feng said calmly. Though these two were important figures in their kingdoms, killing them would essentially mean opposing those two kingdoms.

But! With his current strength, it was enough to go all out without worry. Whether two countries could withstand a full-output Delve-hidden moon, world-cleansing dragon was still unknown.

However, that would harm ordinary civilians, so it was still inadvisable.

"I'll find time later to gather intelligence first. It's better to understand the targets that need to be dealt with." Dan Feng thought to himself, then prepared to go see how Roxy and the others were doing.

When Roxy led the group to the second floor, they were very curious about the master bedroom and wanted to take a look.

However, just as everyone was about to approach the master bedroom, Roxy suddenly remembered something important—the bed in the master bedroom seemed to have been rolled into a mess by her!

Embarrassment and nervousness surged in her heart, so without hesitation, she quickly blocked the door, stopping everyone from going in.

"Hm? Roxy, what's wrong?" Mayibeia's voice carried some confusion as she looked puzzled at Roxy, not understanding why she had suddenly acted this way.

Roxy's face turned slightly red. She quickly shook her head and stammered an explanation: "Uh... we can't go in there yet. It hasn't been tidied up completely."

Seeing this, the landlady smiled understandingly and said: "In that case, let's go look at the other bedrooms then." With that, she slowly opened the door to Roxy's bedroom nearby and led the way in.

Galdaruf followed the landlady into the room.

A flame ignited in his hand as he skillfully used fire magic to light the kerosene lamp hanging on the wall.

In an instant, the dark room was illuminated by dim yellow firelight. Everyone's gazes followed the light and fell upon Roxy's bedroom. The room was arranged simply yet warmly.

Right upon entering, one could see the distant scenery through the window. At this time, the streets of Millishion were brightly lit, filled with a strong sense of everyday life and warmth.

"This bedroom is really quite nice!" the landlady said while reaching out to touch the furniture, as if wanting to feel their texture through her fingertips.

For her, the quality of furniture wasn't just about appearance—it was more important how they felt to the touch.

Mayibeia stood to the side, carefully examining the room's style.

She couldn't help but sigh: "This bedroom is indeed much better than our new home." It turned out that she and Galdaruf's house used the most common decorating style in Millishion—simple and comfortable, but comparatively ordinary.

Hearing Mayibeia's words, Roxy also became interested.

She had never visited Mayibeia and Galdaruf's newly decorated house, so she decided to find some time to go with Dan Feng to take a look and see how their place was decorated.
