Arabella met Enzo while he was waiting for Adrian and his men to be taken away by the guards. She was surprised to see him in the citadel, especially since he had only recently returned to the kingdom. Considering everything that had happened, she would have thought Adrian had learned his lesson and would know better than to show his face there again.
Yet, there he was, and from the looks of things, Enzo had already dealt with him.
Arabella looked around, taking in the situation before turning her attention to Enzo. "What is going on here?" she asked, still a little shocked and surprised by what she had walked into.
Enzo turned towards her, and the moment he saw her, his expression softened into a smile. He had been worried about her for a while, and seeing her standing in front of him brought him some relief. He moved closer to her without paying attention to the people around them and held her in his arms.
