Seoha's POV
The laughter doesn't stop even as the rain grows heavier.
The alpha had taken off his jacket a minute ago. He placed it on my head to shield me from the rain, but it's already soaked through.
"Hurry!" Taesan yells over the noise of rain hitting the ground and our bodies. My legs can't keep up but I try to run with him anyway, and at some point, he picks me up.
"Sannah!" I squeal as he throws me over his shoulder and holds me in place with a hand on my butt.
Everything is upside down and exhilarating. I feel like a child again.
Oh! A child!
"Sannah! The baby!" I laugh and he instantly changes my position, holding bridal style as he continues to run through the rain.
He finally comes to a stop under the part of the bridge that is safe from the rain.
Taesan pushes his dark hair back, still grinning at me, and I smile back at him. Even though I'm shaking like a leaf, I am happier than I have ever been before.
