Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: Really a Dog Senior

This is a blood vessel inside the human body. A purple Insects, dragging an egg, is moving through the blood vessel, familiar with the route, and arrives at the heart, the center of the body's blood supply.

The heart.

After bringing the insect egg to its designated location, the purple Insects dies.

Along with it, even smaller purple Insects also die.

Their work is officially over.

Just like parents in nature who self-harm or even commit suicide for their children.

Their own flesh, blood, and Chakra will become the new life's first nourishment, causing the insect egg to hatch quickly and break out of its shell.

A soft and cute insect is born in the ventricle.

It doesn't have the exoskeleton of an arthropod, and its size is not much larger than a tadpole. It's a milky-white, round, and plump little dumpling, with dense bristles covering its soft body, floating fluffily in the blood. Its head has fan-shaped antennae like rabbit ears, and its body is dotted with small black particles.

It's like a small glutinous rice cream bunny adorned with chocolate cookie crumbs.

It looks genuinely adorable, something anyone, male or female, would instantly fall in love with at first sight.

Miki likes to call it 'Little Goat' Blood Slug.

And 'goat' here refers to a demon.

There is food everywhere. Just born, it doesn't need to do anything. As a soft-bodied insect of the 'Zerg' (Zesu) species, a type of parasite, it has a specialized trait.

That is appetite.

And 'Zerg' (Zesu), in Miki's definition, refers to a new insect race different from common insects, i.e., alien insects.

Driven by biological instinct, it begins to feed, continuously and greedily.

All its bristles open, and its siphon-like mouthparts rapidly draw blood.

With rapid digestion, cells begin to divide at an extreme speed. With a sufficient supply of food, its body quickly expands, and soon, the ventricle can no longer contain its body.

Naturally, it breaks out of its shell.

It bites open the atrium with its largest mouthparts.

Food continues to flow endlessly; only a portion of blood has been drawn, and there is still a lot of flesh.

But by this time, it can begin the new work Miki has assigned it: creating Chakra.

Its blank brain connects to the master's mind, and in an instant, it understands its mission.

It begins a new round of feeding, gnawing on the corpse, but its body will no longer grow. All the collected energy and nutrients are converted into Chakra, and it uses its most important talent to begin remote transmission.

Following a mysterious connection, it pours into Miki's body.

White Fang, standing nearby, immediately senses this abnormality. The massive Chakra is so abundant that it overflows from her body.

Miki claps her hands.

Accompanied by the low hum of Chakra reaction, as she looks up, a deadly attack is launched simultaneously with Hanzou's disappearance.

No aiming is needed, because it's an enclosed space. All Miki needs to do is turn the vicinity into a battlefield advantageous for herself.

Insect Secret Technique: Great Explosive Poison Wave.

A hurricane carrying a purple mist rushes out, and an overwhelming surge of poison gas sweeps in all directions, quickly filling every inch of space.

The massive poison mist, like towering waves, constantly crashes against the surrounding walls, and a piercing wind howls incessantly indoors.

In the storm, clothes flutter and hair dances in the wind.

The purple poison gas obscures the entire view; nothing can be seen.

Amidst the swirling purple mist, White Fang looks at Miki's faint figure beside him and can't help but feel a headache.

She calls this 'low Chakra'?

A jutsu of this scale, there are no more than ten people in the Village who can unleash it without panting, and he is not among them.

Moreover, this jutsu is simply a Shinigami harvesting lives on the battlefield.

Although he doesn't know why he isn't showing symptoms of poisoning, if he were to summon his dog now, would it really not be poisoned to death?

That guy named Hanzou must be dead.

As he thinks this, Hitomi shouts angrily, "Down below!"

The floor has been broken through. Hanzou is on the floor below.

Immediately after, Miki shouts, "Get out of the way!"

As if by reflex, the four jump away.

The next second, several continuous water streams silently shoot through the floor, hitting the ceiling like lasers.

Water Release: Water Trumpet Technique.

Hanzou, the Salamander, is skilled in poison, proficient in taijutsu, and an expert in Water Release.

This is intelligence gathered by Anbu at the cost of lives.

"Bird!" Miki barks.

The next second, Hitomi draws her sword and stabs it down, releasing a violent burst of Chakra. The entire floor trembles slightly, then begins to crack, spiderweb-like fissures spreading. As the floor collapses, the three follow the sinking floor, and with it, a massive amount of poison gas descends.

At some point, Chiri's figure disappeared.

Against the backdrop of purple poison gas, a pure color is more conducive to Chiri's genjutsu.

Accompanied by the heavy thud of falling rubble, the three descend to the next floor, greeted by a surging purple river.

Water Release: Salamander Saliva.

This isn't Miki's poison; it's Hanzou's.

The surging giant wave, topping a ceiling several meters high, crashes down violently.

Hitomi draws her sword and meets it, spinning rapidly, clashing head-on without any fancy moves.

Secret Sword: Revolving Heaven Sword Dance.

Just like a reef, no, it was a giant wall, firmly holding back the wave.

The clash of water and sword roared fiercely in their ears.

After a while, it stopped.

Water flowed across the floor, passing over the dry purple carpet beneath their feet, and overflowing through the cracks Hitomi had made in the surrounding passage.

"He ran away," Miki said. "What a cautious fellow."

There was no arrogance of a strong person at all.

This guy is a true Shinobi.

He would assassinate rather than openly attack, and would always choose a group fight over a one-on-one duel.

But he hadn't run far; Hanzou was waiting for them outside the building.

The Land of Rain is naturally an advantageous battlefield for Water Release, even more so than the Land of Water.

The three walked out through the broken wall, into the rain, and stood on the water pipe walls outside the spire.

Across the way, in the heavy rain, Hanzou looked at them from a distance.

"You are not ordinary Anbu!"

Miki did not reply.

Once the battle here began, Hanzou's subordinates would notice the anomaly and quickly rush over.

Fighting alone, deep in enemy territory, the situation was already advantageous for Hanzou.

Therefore, his voice was filled with confidence.

"To have infiltrated so close to me, and killed so many of my comrades, I will make sure you all sleep here forever!"

Miki turned to White Fang and said curtly, "Go."

Meaning, don't slack off.

White Fang wanted to scratch his head, but his hands were busy. He looked at Hanzou.

Close-quarters combat with this guy who is covered in poison?

He would die, wouldn't he?

But as a captain, he had no choice but to bite the bullet and go.

White Fang held his short sword level with his eyes, hunkered down like a canine, and assumed an attacking stance.

Hanzou looked at White Fang.

"That short sword, is that Konoha's White Fang? I've heard you're the opponent the Anbu of the Five Great Nations least want to face."

That Thousand Years of Death technique alone, once witnessed, makes anyone unwilling to fight him.

As a result, the rumors grew more and more exaggerated, which ironically solidified his reputation.

Miki glanced at White Fang's stance and raised an eyebrow.

This taijutsu.

Is it a self-taught taijutsu developed by learning and imitating canine attack stances?

It's based on the same principle as her Centipede Dance, but not as extreme.

This stance focuses on the human mid-section and ensures a favorable distance for himself, reducing his defensive area while maintaining good observational vision. This makes a gut punch the most suitable and deadliest attack point; he can launch attacks against both upper and lower body, after all, humans are not dogs.

Moreover, it is one of the few taijutsu styles capable of countering extremely low-stance attacks like the Centipede Dance.

As expected of White Fang.

The first time they met, this guy wasn't serious at all.

Hitomi didn't look back, but watched White Fang behind her with interest, muttering, "He really is a dog senior."

Yesterday, I enabled fan-value speech, and there really wasn't any.

By the way, yesterday's new additions were only 220.

The six frequencies on the homepage are truly bad.

Finally, don't save it, or it will die.
