Leo felt his feet sink slowly into the ground, he looked all around him, hardly anything had changed.
The room was still as white as earlier, with the only change being that the ground underneath his feet was wet as a thin layer of water was between him and the white ground.
His reflection spawned revealing his figure to himself.
"Is that me…" He thought as he touched his jaw and made out the shape of his face.
He had grown over the past seven months even if not much he could notice, he was now a bit taller as well as broader.
This changes had been lost on him since it had been long since he saw his reflection.
"Can't still feel my other aether, only the flames remai-" He muttered the door behind him had vanished.
"So there is no going back?
Did it send us to different locations or did they not make it, it's hard to know with this place." He thought as he took a step.
[Ripple] His step sent a ripple through the water.
"Welcome to the tomb of Gyrias" A voice said to Leo, it was a familiar one.
Evening though it lacked the fierceness that nearly sent him to madness once before, Leo's body remembered before his mind.
He felt uncomfortable, immediately covering his ears with his hands on reflex, the events of that 'day' had left a scar.
It was one of the few things that he dared not be curious about.
"The voice from the forgotten void…" Leo was on guard, looking around him cautiously with a cold sweat dripping through his face.
His breathing was loud, enough to bother anyone else if they were any; luckily there weren't.
After minutes that seemed like hours which Leo's mind perceived as an eternity, he was calmer.
...
The voice said nothing after that line leaving Leo with time to settle his conflicts, he took another step, it felt heavy as he struggled to raise his feet but he carried on.
[Ripple] Leo's eyes widened at the sight of what stood before him in a distance, he felt small.
Far smaller than he ever had, its presence alone and the sinister vibe it gave off were enough to trigger his weak stomach;
A large throne meters in height, it had cracks and looked old, ancient even, but not of man's creation.
What triggered his fear was what sat on it;
A ghastly humanoid creature tens of meters in height with green skin that had a dark hue with the texture of wood.
On the place that could be called its face was a large hole with horns that flowed down to the ground, and what looked like hair flowing to its back.
On both shoulders were the same as well with holes on both of them as its arms rested atop the armrests of the throne.
It's body was slender, with a large bowel that had a protuberance and legs that went down from there.
"It's one thing after the other, when the voice said tomb, was this its inhibitor?
Was the voice that of its own, so many questions but no one to get a reply from." Leo thought as he took a look at it, with a little sense of welcoming mixed in with his fear.
From what looked like a corpse aether black like his seeped out little by little, just like the one that came out of the carcasses of the corrupted.
[Ripple] Leo mustered up the courage to take another step.
The space stretched like a piece of rubber; the throne that was less than a hundred metres before him was now nearly a thousand metres away.
A woman appeared in front of him and a bowl in front of the throne, the being had vanished now he was alone with another.
She was white and tall with a body that glowed, she wore attire that reeked of prestige as she walked gallantly with a large sword on her right arm.
Her hair flowed downwards as her body emitted aura of gold.
Leo had run out of questions at this point, he just followed what felt like a will and took another step.
[Ripple]
Structures emerged around them, what would a throne without a castle be; oh what a castle it was, with large pillars taller than the wall and gold linings everywhere.
The area once white gradually filled with colours both dull and vibrant, a carpet of osblood and pillars of ash and gold.
[Ripple]
The woman was now wearing a golden crown on her head, on each eye was a crown imprinted, and another two she wore like bracelets.
It was now clear what she was, with her dignified demeanor and straight posture it would be weird to take her for anything less than a Queen.
"Why would a person so dignified weild a sword?" Leo wondered, he was focused trying to piece the multiple shards of information.
[Ripple]
At his next step the lady held up the sword, thousands of knights adorned in iron held up swords and shields as they stood along the sides of the castle's walls.
Each felt fierce and ominous as they radiated auras of the path of nature with three crowns layered on each other, the bottom being the widest in diameter and the top being the smallest.
Those were already strong enough, but at his next step it got more serious.
"Is this the true might of the commandments…" Leo felt it hard to breathe each step was heavier than the last but he carried on.
[Ripple]
A little beast stood beside her emanating a sinister aura, its frame looked familiar to Leo was one Leo could recognise it was that of the sprout.
"But it looked very small as compared to what it was, maybe a younger version or perhaps I was mistaken.
'When you have nothing to go by you start drawing conclusions as the truth'
Why am I remembering Marcus's words now."
[Ripple] he took another step.
This time it was different.
[Whoosh]
"?!" And around him others appeared one by one; Caesar, Zefroth, Rud, Dan, Fiona and the twins.
"Just the people I wanted to see, finally I'm not alone any longer." Leo was glad to see them as he conjured up a smile, but their eyes were full of fright from the situation they were in, even that of Fiona's.
They opened their mouths but couldn't speak, just like the land of awakening; they couldn't hear their thoughts as well, they looked nervous.
Leo looked at Caesar with the urge to ask him questions he opened his mouth to speak; "Wh-"
!
"Oh you careless boy" The voice from earlier echoed in Leo's head.
"What do you mean by th-" Leo wasn't done speaking when it happened.
The woman that had ignored his existence turned to him as he attempted speaking, metres away yet at his blink it was reduced to an inch.
Her eyes carried bloodlust and made him feel even smaller, it beared so much malice that his knees nearly buckled.
"What would Heimer do…" Leo looked it in the eye, he tried gathering aether in his trembling arms but it dispersed.
She caressed his face with her index finger cutting along his cheeks.
[Thump! Thump!]
"Move!" He screaned internally.
She dragged her fingernail to the bottom of his left eye as blood flowed, he tried moving his legs but they remained planted.
His heart was on the verge of leaving his chest when all of a sudden -
She stopped, turned around and continued walking.
Leo looked at the others that looked like they wanted to help him but were constrained by the same limits as he was.
But now he felt a bit relieved that he was going through this with others, his heart pounded still but there was no other way but forward.
[Ripple] Their ripples complimented each other's instead of cancelling it out.
At the next step as expected another change occured.
Four others now stood beside her, they seemed close to her, with capes that dragged along the floor on their silver armour.
Strength that could label each a calamity, from the knights to the queen it was clear that wherever this was, it wasn't weak by any metric.
{Was our existence so feeble before them that didn't care at all, or could they not see us.
Both were possible, or could equally be wrong I couldn't tell; the pieces were had to make whole.
I'm getting a headache, that word would sum up this entire situation, but there would be no gain in standing still.
I took another step into the unknown tomb, was this still the same place? Could this be called a tomb.
Each one alone could wipe out humanity and here they are, all serving a being so supreme.
…The supreme, I wonder what he would've done in this situation, if even Fiona is frightened I wouldn't be shocked about him.}
Leo took a look at the others, they nodded at each other as they took another unified step.
[Ripple]
