The kiss was brutal, a primal claiming that stole my breath and set my blood on fire. Jake's lips were hard, demanding, his tongue invading my mouth with a fierce, possessive hunger that sent shockwaves of desire coursing through my veins. His hands were like iron bands around my waist, pulling me flush against his body, his grip so tight it was almost painful. But I didn't care. I welcomed the pain, reveled in it, because it was Jake.
