Mila stared at him in stunned silence, her breathing uneven and her heartbeat spiraling wildly out of control.
The man's long hair was disheveled, and his thick beard almost completely concealed his jawline. But his deep green eyes—filled with unmistakable concern—remained locked onto hers.
