Dominic was reviewing documents when his phone rang. His eyes remained on the file as he answered casually.
"Hello?"
"Boss, Miss Mila is in danger. You need to act quickly."
Dominic stiffened in his place. His gaze snapped to the caller ID. Only then did he realize it was the spy he had secretly assigned to watch Mila.
"What is going on?" he asked instantly, alarmed.
"It's Madam Serene. She took Miss Mila away."
Dominic jumped out of his seat. "Where are you now?" he demanded.
"Madam Serene wanted to go shopping. So they came to the mainland. She brought Miss Mila along."
Dominic's jaw tightened, fury rising fast.
Mila was not supposed to leave the island without his permission. How dare Serene take her out?
"I don't know what happened," the man continued hurriedly. "But the car stopped suddenly. Madam Serene looked furious, and then she handed Miss Mila over to some men."
Dominic's eyes darkened dangerously.
"Where is her guard? Why didn't he inform me?"
