Chapter 27
*Before any of you comment this wouldn't be shocking for an 11 year old to act like a dick after suffering what he did(And no hes not an adult since he has no memories he's just a child with a lot of precociousness )*
As Kushina began to finish up her letter to Roku, she was interrupted by the sound of cry from Naruto's room. She smiled and tucked the envelope into her pockets, and began to head towards his room. As she walked into Naruto's room and started to change his diaper she thought back on when she first met Roku.
FLASHBACK
Kushina had heard from Minato about the talented boy he had taken on as his guard. Minato had talked about how even though he was only 11 that he had the strength stronger than most Elite Jonin.
He even mentioned how he was the person that convinced the Uchiha to let Kakashi keep his sharingan. She had then decided to meet him and thank him.
She then traveled to his home and knocked on his door. But as she knocked on his door there was no answer.
She frowned, while she didn't awaken the Kagura's mind eye she was still a good sensor. So with a small flare of her chakra she knew that he was in.
She began to knock on the door harder, and as he opened the door and gave a glare she turned shocked. She had rarely seen a gaze filled with so much hatred in her life.
He started yelling, "Take a fucking hint bitch, I'm busy"
She growled in anger, she hadn't had anyone talk to her like this ever since she was a kid. After she had beaten every single bully in the village into submission no one ever dared to talk to her like that. Much less a brat no older than a fresh genin!!
She glared back, "What's your problem! I just came to say hi, why are you such an asshole"
He just glared and continued, "Yeah well i don't want your visit so fuck off".
As he tried to slam the door she shoved her hand onto it to stop it, she then glared at him. "Aplogize NOW"
He glared at her before forcibly moving her hand and slamming the door in her face. She glared at the door angry and began to march toward Minato's office.
After arriving at the office and slamming the door open she glared at Minato.
Minato glanced at her in surprise and fear and immediately began to back up from his desk to the wall, "Hi Kushina what's wrong?"
She glared at him, "A kind and sweet boy? Just a little arrogant? That's how you describe that little brat!"
Minato sat down at the question and massaged his temples, "I see you choose today to meet with Roku."
Kushina continued to glare, "I have never met anyone ruder or–"
Minato sighed and interrupted her, "His mom died last night"
At those words Kushina turned to him in surprise, "What?"
Minato nodded, "Yea and at his own hands too."
Kushina turned baffled and Minato explained, "Apparently she knew she was dying so she wanted him to get the Mangekyou."
Kushina turned blank before she sighed and left without a response.
Roku's House
Kushina arrived at his house and began to bang on his door again.
After awhile he open the door in anger he glared at her, "What the fuck are you doing back"
Kushina looked at his expression and frowned sadly, "I'm so sorry for your lose, i know how you feel"
At the mention of his lose his harden and his glare grew worse, "Fuck off your apologies aren't worth shit!"
As he turned away and began to walk further into his house but she rushed behind him and hugged him.
He began to struggle to get out of her arms, "The hell! Let go of me"
Kushina hugged him tighter before laying her head on his, "it's okay let it all out, I'm here. I felt the same way when my clan died"
As he felt her warmth around him his struggles weakened, it reminded him of the hug his mother gave him this morning. The boy then began to sniffle and turned angry, "WHY WHY WHY!!"
She held the boy tighter and began to rub his head, "Don't worry, it's okay"
He then collapsed in her arms and began to cry. "WHY! It's all my fault!"
She kneeled down and hugged him tighter, "It's not your fault. I promise you"
END OF FLASHBACK
While their second meeting started off bad, by the end of it Kushina felt very close to the little boy. She even ordered Minato to not call Roku and that he wasn't going to work for a while.
Everyday after then she would visit Roku and bring him some cooking. While she was there she would just keep him company and comfort him. It was then that she began to understand how much of a monster Roku's talent was.
It was during this time that she learned Roku was teaching himself sealing Jutsu, and she offered to teach him. She was happy to be able to spread the teachings of the sealing and it also allowed Roku to take his mind off of his mother's death.
But to her shock Roku absorbed her knowledge like a sponge, his talent in sealing was almost as good as hers.
She was very excited to have such a talented pupil, she even changed from just teaching him the basic sealing Jutsu and began to sprinkle in Uzumaki seals.
While at first she had planned to just temporarily teach him before leaving when done. But by the end of the month she had already accepted him as a full student.
As the days passed the month began to end and the sadness in Roku's eyes began to dim. It was as he began to recover that she discovered something shocking.
His talent wasn't just "Almost as good as hers" it was better, the loss of his mother had been weighing on his mind causing him to learn at a slower pace. But now that he had begun to recover a little his pace had increased.
She looked at him in shock before asking him, "Do you know how amazing you are?"
Roku looked up from his scroll in confusion, "What do you mean?"
Kushina laughed, "I heard from Minato about you, not only are you great at sealing Jutsu. But you are a master of Kenjutsu, Fire Style Jutsu and even Medical Jutsu!"
Roku shook his head, "I have very mismatched knowledge of medicine. Some things i am good at like healing small injuries and basic diagnostic, but if you had me do a complex surgery or even healing hard injuries i am useless"
Kushina shook her head and as she was about to comment, Roku's face darkened and he spoke up. "After all if i was a better healer i could have saved my mom"
Kushina sighed in sadness, things like this had been happening a lot. Every time something reminded him of his mother he turned silent and angry.
