Calling it "trash" to describe people isn't uncommon; it's outright contempt!
"What the hell did you just say?"
"Are you tired of living!"
The three of them didn't lower their guard upon seeing Grimm was human. They were currently feeling incredibly powerful, their adrenaline surging as if they had taken stimulants, after having just intimidated the residents into silence.
"Heh heh!"
Grimm opened his palm, and a large circular area enveloped the entire tavern. A strong beam of Holy Light surged from the ground.
"Receive the judgment of Holy Light. May Holy Light bless you!"
[Divine Retribution]: Summons a large-scale Holy Light to burn enemies, targeting only those the caster deems enemies.
"Burn in the flames of Holy Light!" As Grimm's voice fell, the three men turned to ash before they could even react.
"Aaaah!"
A young mermaid was the first to scream upon witnessing this scene.
"The pirates are fighting!"
"Quick, run!"
"Aaaah…"
Instantly, the restaurant descended into chaos. The fleeing fish-men collided with each other, stumbling and falling!
This area was originally a bustling part of Fish-Man District. Such a chaotic scene naturally attracted many onlookers.
Upon hearing that pirates were fighting here, no one dared to enter. They merely surrounded the restaurant and notified the Royal Army.
"Pirates are fighting!"
A tall, elderly gentleman, dressed in a red tailcoat like a dandy, passed by. He heard the commotion from afar and paused his steps, which were originally intended to lead him away.
The old man appeared to be in his late fifties or early sixties, his hair gradually turning white. He wore red clothes, red pants, and a large red cape. A blue rose was pinned to his left chest, and he held a slender, dark blue umbrella. His appearance and demeanor were very much like the legendary evil vampire.
Redfield, the Red the Aloof, Patrick Redfield!
Before the Great Voyage Era, he stood at the pinnacle of piracy, a legendary pirate on par with Whitebeard, Garp, and Roger.
He possessed no Devil Fruit abilities, only exceptionally strong taijutsu and swordsmanship, and was naturally gifted with powerful Observation Haki, allowing him to see through people's hearts. This led to extreme social aversion and the development of his reclusive personality. (Redfield only ate the Bat-Bat Fruit, Model: Vampire after the Summit War; he was still a normal person then!)
With his own strength alone, he was on par with Whitebeard, Shiki, and Roger.
However, he always acted alone, so the waves he created were not as significant as those of Whitebeard, Shiki, or Roger. His fame and bounty were also slightly inferior, and he had been defeated by Shiki three years prior.
However, in terms of solo combat prowess, he was definitely not inferior to them.
"It seems to be getting a little whiter…"
Looking at his hair, which reached his neck, although not completely white yet, it was close.
That's right, he didn't even consider his current age.
"I really envy Brook for having the Revive-Revive Fruit, a fruit that makes him unkillable. It seems I need to speed up my search for the Bat-Bat Fruit, Model: Vampire. I don't want to die of old age," Redfield thought to himself and turned to leave.
A group of third-rate pirates causing trouble. Redfield didn't want to watch the show. Like Grimm and Kaido, Redfield also couldn't stand pirates who only knew how to flee upon seeing the Navy, bully civilians, and engage in petty theft.
No, in Redfield's eyes, they couldn't even be called "pirates," but merely thugs.
"Red the Aloof, I didn't expect to meet you here!"
Before Redfield could walk five meters, someone called out his name from behind, forcing him to stop again.
Redfield turned around and, after a three-second gaze, unfurled his large robe, his face expressionless. "Tirion D. Grimm! You've been all over the headlines recently. Are you heading to Paradise, or returning to the New World?"
As Redfield spoke, upon seeing Grimm, a hint of jealousy and loss, imperceptible even to himself, flashed in his eyes.
"If you have nothing else, would you like to have a drink together, Redfield!"
Grimm smiled. "I just cleaned up some scum, which put me in a great mood!"
"Oh? If you're paying, I don't mind!"
Redfield, after all, was just passing by and hadn't witnessed the scene in the restaurant. However, hearing Grimm's explanation, he guessed that the commotion was caused by this kid.
Redfield habitually activated his "Observation Haki" to try and probe Grimm's mind, but to his surprise, he found he couldn't see through the kid's thoughts at all. This was the first time. Even with Shiki, Whitebeard, or even Roger, he could see a little bit, but this guy… he couldn't see through him at all.
"Heh… Come on then!"
Grimm then led Redfield to the bar he had visited when he first came to Fish-Man Island. The beer there was truly delicious!
...
In the Fish-Man Island Royal Palace, King Neptune, upon receiving the news, immediately ordered an investigation into the cause of the incident. He eventually learned that Grimm and Redfield were at a tavern in the bustling district.
The Right Minister, a merman from the Seahorse tribe with accessories on his right waist, held two bounty posters and looked up at King Neptune and Queen Otohime. "Your Majesties, your Majesties, the identities of those two have been confirmed. They are both pirates, and… their bounties are both over a billion…"
Although the news from Fish-Man Island wasn't always accurate, as long as someone was famous, their location wouldn't be a secret. Moreover, with the advent of the Great Pirate Era, Fish-Man Island had stepped up its intelligence gathering efforts. After all, there were simply too many pirates here lately!
"…Did the incident at the restaurant harm any innocent people?" King Neptune, sweating profusely, asked, not expecting pirates with such outrageous bounties to come here.
The Right Minister continued, "No, but three people were reduced to ashes, and the powder flew everywhere… it was a bit… uh, disgusting…"
"…Although it's regrettable, please suppress this matter and provide some compensation to the restaurant!" King Neptune decided.
"Please don't say that, Your Majesty. You are constantly working hard for Fish-Man Island," the Right Minister consoled.
"Sigh… If this continues!" King Neptune said, rubbing his temples. It had only been a year since the Great Pirate Era began, and Fish-Man Island was already in such disarray. If it continued for a few more years, who knows what kind of havoc would be wreaked.
Suddenly, King Neptune remembered something and reminded him, "Regarding the tavern where those two pirates went, immediately evacuate the civilians. If possible, get everyone out of the establishment, leaving only one service staff member!"
"Yes, I'll go right away, Your Majesty!"
