Monday morning arrived with an energy that neither Vale Holdings nor Ashford Holdings had experienced in years. The atmosphere inside both headquarters felt different; the uncertainty that had once surrounded every major decision had disappeared. Employees no longer wondered whether the companies would survive. Now they discussed how far they could grow. On the top floor of Ashford Holdings, Seraphina stood beside the conference room windows, reviewing the final draft of a joint announcement.
Daniel entered carrying a tablet and several printed reports. "You wanted the latest market projections."
"I did." She replied.
He placed the reports on the table. "I also brought the revised partnership agreement. Both legal teams approved every section late last night."
Seraphina smiled. "That was faster than I expected."
Daniel laughed. "When the lawyers have nothing left to argue about, you know the document is solid."
She nodded. "I will take that as a compliment."
