Chapter 103 - Chapter Hundred-Three

As today marked the first day of Fashion Week at Diamond Snow Secondary School, it was a highly anticipated event. The grand hall was transformed into a breathtaking venue with crystal chandeliers casting a soft, elegant glow over the room. The gleaming marble runway was flanked by rows of plush, ivory-coloured chairs reserved for the guests of honour. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of orchids and roses, mingling with the subtle scent of high-end perfumes worn by the arriving guests.

The event began with an opening ceremony that set the tone for the week. The school's headmistress delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of creativity, cultural heritage, and the power of fashion to bring people together. Students from various cultural clubs performed traditional dances, each one showcasing the unique heritage of their respective backgrounds.

As the lights dimmed, the first fashion show of the week began. This segment was dedicated to traditional fashion, with students from the school's art and fashion clubs participating as designers and models. The runway came alive with vibrant colours and intricate designs, as students showcased traditional attire from Nigeria, the Philippines, China, India, Korea, and more. Each outfit was carefully crafted to represent the rich cultural heritage of the students, blending tradition with modern style.

Celine and Prince were the stars of the evening, with Celine dressed in a stunning white turtleneck dress layered with a crisp white coat, and Prince in a tailored navy blue suit. They both introduced the next segment, explaining the significance of the traditional garments being showcased. The evening ended with a reception where guests mingled, enjoyed cultural performances, and sampled traditional cuisine prepared by the school's culinary students.
