Chapter 90 - Chapter Ninety

At Moon Corporation headquarters, Felix emerged from the conference room, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. The three-hour board meeting had been a marathon, filled with heated discussions and tough negotiations. But Felix, known for his composure, had emerged successful.

With a confident stride, he glided towards his office, the polished marble floor muffling the click of his leather shoes. Peter, his assistant, followed closely behind, securely clutching a stack of important documents. Dressed in a crisp white suit and matching shoes, Peter exuded a smart and professional demeanour.

Felix, on the other hand, stood out in a dark, formal suit that draped flawlessly over his form. A white dress shirt peeked out, the collar boasting intricate embroidery like delicate lace. While the suit's details were captivating, the small, richly coloured embroidered strawberry on the chest pocket immediately stole the attention, adding a touch of personal flair to his formal attire.

This suit was a recent purchase from his trip to Italy earlier in the year. This was the first time he had worn the exquisite suit, and he resembled a prince from medieval Europe. Undoubtedly, Felix was a strikingly handsome individual. The Njemanzes were blessed with good genes, and anyone would aspire to marry into their esteemed family, hoping to produce offspring with both beauty and intelligence.

Speaking into his earpiece, Felix's voice was smooth and practiced as he finalised a client deal. 'Excellent,' he said, a hint of amusement in his tone, 'we'll solidify the details in the contract.' A tap on his earpiece, and the call ended with a soft chime.

As he neared his office, the sleek glass door glided open silently, welcoming him back like a king returning to his castle. Felix shrugged off his jacket with practiced ease, his movements radiating an air of quiet confidence.

'Make a reservation at a top-tier restaurant for this evening,' he instructed, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. 'I have a date with Chioma at six in the evening.'

Peter, placing the documents on the desk, raised an eyebrow slightly. 'Shall I arrange to pick up Chioma at Star Restaurant, or would you prefer to do it yourself?'

Felix furrowed his brow in response. 'Why would you ask such a foolish question? Even if you don't have a girlfriend, you should know from watching romance movies that every gentleman picks up his lady for a date. However, while your suggestion is appreciated, picking up my date personally is simply a courtesy any gentleman would extend.'
