Nyssa had just finished stacking the last basket of vegetables with Lilah. It had been a stressful night of doing what she didn't even understand and have never done before.
"You seem like you don't know anything. Are you from this kingdom?" She heard Lilah ask her and she pursed her lips.
She looked up, meeting her gaze. Then thought, "Well I'm your princess from the future."
Perfect to say that, wouldn't it? But she just stared blankly, because even she knew she was not of this place, for now.
Before she could turn back her head to the vegetables, she felt a sudden movement at a corner.
It wasn't very visible, but she could sense it. Something in the air seemed to tilt and she felt a sudden rush of wind.
Then, "Nyssa."
She froze. That voice…
Her head snapped up so quickly her neck ached.
"Aveline?!" And there she was. Whom she had been looking for, for ages. Standing just a few steps away, as though she had always been there, with her calm gaze and regal attire.
