The Other World, King Kai's Planet.
This tiny planet, only a few hundred meters wide, had gravity ten times stronger than Earth.
On its surface stood only a circular running track, a domed house, and a few scattered trees.
"Whoa! My halo is gone!"
Goku touched his head and happily did a somersault across the grass.
"This is great, Lord King Kai! I've been resurrected! That means the Dragon Balls really worked!"
Beside him, North King Kai stood with his hands behind his back while adjusting his sunglasses.
His tone became slightly serious.
"Goku, although you've been revived, the situation is not optimistic. Those two Saiyans will arrive on Earth in less than three hours.
Even if you run down Snake Way at full speed now, it will already be too late."
"Huh? Then what should I do?" Goku froze.
"I forgot to calculate the return trip time!"
King Kai sighed and was about to say something else when the air suddenly distorted slightly.
Krillin appeared between them.
"Haha, Goku, King Kai, good morning."
Krillin raised his hand casually as if greeting neighbors on the street.
"Kri... Krillin?" Goku's eyes widened in shock.
"How are you here? Weren't you on Earth?"
King Kai's sunglasses tilted crookedly.
"Instant Transmission?" He reacted immediately.
"That's a technique from the Yardrats. No wonder I couldn't understand how you moved like that before."
He paused and frowned.
"But their Instant Transmission requires preparation time and a specific posture. Why does yours look different?"
Krillin only smiled.
His Instant Transmission had already been optimized by the System into a top-tier movement technique.
"Alright, we'll talk later," Krillin grabbed Goku's shoulder.
"Goku, the food is ready back on Earth. Those two Saiyans will arrive in about two hours. We need to prepare a surprise for them."
"Oh! Okay!"
Without hesitation, Goku grabbed Krillin's arm.
"Lord King Kai, we're leaving! Thanks for taking care of me!"
King Kai opened his mouth to warn them about Kaioken usage limits.
But before he could finish they disappeared.
"...That kid really treats King Kai's Planet like a public restroom."
King Kai sighed, "Still, with him there, Earth might actually survive. The power inside that bald head is something even I can't see through."
Meanwhile, on Earth near East City's outskirts.
This mountain region, only a few dozen kilometers away from the city, had already been declared a military exclusion zone.
Krillin and Goku appeared in midair.
"Wow! I'm really back!" Goku took a deep breath.
"Earth's air still smells the best!"
"Stop being sentimental and look over there," Krillin pointed toward a nearby hill.
Several powerful energy signatures were gathered there.
Piccolo sat cross-legged on a boulder with his cape fluttering in the wind.
Nearby, Gohan and Trunks played by tossing stones at each other.
Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha stood together while staring toward the sky seriously.
"Everyone!" Goku flew over immediately.
"Goku!"
Seeing him return, everyone visibly relaxed.
"Goku, you're finally back," Piccolo opened his eyes and smirked slightly.
"Hmph. Your power level increased quite a bit."
"Hehe, Piccolo, you've gotten stronger too!" Goku scratched his head before looking at everyone again.
Then his expression changed.
He stared at Yamcha.
Then at Tien Shinhan.
Then at Launch, who was wiping down a heavy sniper rifle nearby.
"Did I walk into the wrong place?" Goku blinked in confusion.
"Yamcha, why does your energy feel so dangerous? It's like a bomb ready to explode."
"Heh, Goku, don't underestimate me," Yamcha proudly condensed a small Energy sphere in his palm.
"Six months of hell training wasn't for nothing. Now I can kick Saiyans around."
"Alright, enough catching up."
Krillin clapped his hands and looked up at the sky.
Two burning streaks had appeared high above.
Two Saiyan space pods were entering Earth's atmosphere at extreme speed.
"They're here."
Krillin spoke calmly.
"System, activate AR Combat Vision."
Target locked: Saiyan pods ×2
Estimated landing location: East City Central Plaza
Threat level: S
Recommendation: Prevent landing inside the urban zone. Casualties would exceed one million.
"So they really planned to crash straight into the city center."
Krillin sneered, "Do they think Earth is a public parking lot?"
He looked at everyone behind him.
"Let's welcome our guests properly. Teach them Earth's first traffic rule: no illegal parking."
"Understood!" Tien Shinhan attacked first.
He formed a triangle with his hands.
"Tri-Beam!"
A pillar of golden energy shot into the sky and struck one of the pods directly.
Immediately afterward came Yamcha's compressed Energy blast, Piccolo's Demon Wave, and Launch's armor-piercing sniper shots.
Under the combined barrage, the two falling pods were forced off course and redirected toward the empty mountain wasteland instead of East City.
"Now that's how you welcome visitors."
Krillin crossed his arms and nodded.
"Prepare for impact."
