Basement Level Five was the core restricted area of Capsule Corporation.
The massive Gravity Room complex was divided into seven independent training chambers, each equipped with high-spec medical pods and automated food synthesizers.
"Listen carefully, everyone," Krillin stood in front of the central control console.
A giant holographic display behind him showed everyone's current physical data.
"There are six months left before the Saiyans arrive. During these six months, there will be no rest days and no entertainment. You will only eat, sleep, and train."
His voice echoed through the empty hall with unquestionable authority.
"The gravity system here can be adjusted up to thirty times Earth's gravity. I suggest you start with double gravity. Don't crush yourselves into meat paste on the first day."
Yamcha swallowed nervously, "Thirty times? Didn't you say King Kai's Planet only had ten times gravity?"
"We're not fighting ordinary Saiyans. We're fighting elite Saiyans."
Krillin pointed at the data display.
"Yamcha, your energy control is too scattered, and you rely too much on flashy techniques. From today onward, you will focus on one move: the Tri-Beam."
"But the Tri-Beam drains too much life energy..." Yamcha protested weakly.
"That's because your training method was wrong," Krillin interrupted him.
"I want you to apply the explosive principles of Kaioken to the Tri-Beam itself. Don't let your body carry Kaioken. Let the energy sphere carry Kaioken."
"Use Kaioken on the energy sphere?" Yamcha froze as if a door had opened inside his mind.
Krillin's eyes sharpened, "Exactly. Compress it again and again until it becomes an unstable miniature nuclear bomb.
As long as you prevent it from exploding in your hands, one shot will be enough to bring even Nappa to his knees."
Yamcha's eyes lit up.
If he mastered this, he would no longer be just the guy who relied on the Wolf Fang Fist.
Krillin turned toward Tien Shinhan.
"Tien Shinhan, your physical condition is second only to Piccolo's. Your Tri-Beam is extremely powerful, but it consumes your life force.
I want you to learn how to offset that cost using energy recovery techniques within one month. Think of it as restoring energy while spending it."
Tien Shinhan nodded seriously.
"I understand."
Krillin then looked toward Piccolo, who stood silently with his arms crossed.
"Piccolo, your Special Beam Cannon takes too long to charge. Inside the Gravity Room, Trunks and Gohan will continuously harass you while you prepare the attack.
You must learn to complete the charge while moving at high speed and taking hits."
Piccolo snorted, "Good. That's exactly what I wanted."
Krillin then turned toward Launch, who was calmly cleaning her gun.
"Launch. Guns are useless against opponents with combat power above ten."
Krillin condensed a small sphere of energy around a coin and flicked it casually.
The coin instantly pierced through three layers of reinforced steel plating, leaving molten holes behind.
"Wrap your bullets with energy, or replace gunpowder entirely with energy propulsion."
Krillin spoke calmly.
"I want you to become a Magic Bullet marksman. If your energy control improves enough, your gun will become an anti-material sniper weapon."
Excitement filled Launch's eyes.
"That sounds amazing, baldy!"
Over the next six months, the underground training area echoed constantly with explosions, shouting, and the hum of gravity machines.
"My back is going to break!"
That was Yamcha trying to stabilize an unstable Energy sphere under double gravity.
"Trunks! Stop kicking me while I'm charging!"
That was Piccolo being harassed mid-charge.
Gunfire echoed across another chamber as Launch fired enhanced bullets that left blue energy trails behind them.
Krillin trained as well.
Inside the thirty-times gravity chamber, he repeated the simplest movements possible.
Punches.
Kicks.
Basic strikes.
He was attempting to perfectly merge the absolute strength of the Saitama Template with energy-based techniques.
[Simplified Kaioken principle analysis progress 10 percent.
Skill generated: Normal Overclocking (Passive).
Effect: Maintains body cells in a continuous low-level Kaioken state between two and five times amplification. No burst required. No major side effects. Only consumes additional physical energy. Host stamina infinite. Consumption ignored.]
Time passed quickly.
Finally, the last day before the Saiyans arrived came.
The training chamber doors opened slowly.
Everyone stepped outside.
Their clothes were torn and their bodies were covered with scars, but their eyes had completely changed.
Yamcha casually held a Energy sphere the size of a ping-pong ball in his hand. The space around it distorted slightly from the energy pressure.
"Tri-Beam: Kaioken Version complete."
Tien Shinhan's aura had become calm and heavy like a mountain.
Piccolo stood silently with his cape reduced to rags, but his presence felt like an unsheathed blade.
Behind him stood Trunks and Gohan. The childish expressions in their eyes had been replaced with the resolve of warriors.
Krillin activated his System scan.
Piccolo: Combat Power 3,500 normal state
Tien Shinhan: Combat Power 2,800
Yamcha: Combat Power 2,100 (Energy burst exceeds 4,000)
Gohan: Combat Power 1,800 normal state
Trunks: Combat Power 1,900
Krillin: Combat Power 15,000 (Normal Overclocking active)
"Very good."
Krillin nodded in satisfaction.
These numbers already surpassed almost everyone from the original timeline except Goku.
Even Nappa, with a combat power of around 4,000, could potentially be defeated by Yamcha now.
"Everyone, tomorrow those two Saiyans arrive," Krillin stepped forward and clenched his fists.
"They think Earth is a helpless planet they can invade and sell whenever they want."
He smiled slightly.
"But tomorrow, we'll teach them something important."
"This is Hell. Welcome."
Everyone roared together as their fighting spirit surged upward.
Far out in space, two spherical Saiyan pods streaked toward Earth like falling meteors.
