Time passed quickly, and before anyone realized it, a full year had gone by.
At Capsule Corporation headquarters in West City, the futuristic building that usually buzzed with technology was now wrapped in an atmosphere of unprecedented tension.
The reason was simple.
The mistress of the house—Bulma—was pregnant.
This news had detonated like a bomb within the Brief family, completely changing their daily routine and even the company's operations.
Early in the morning, Krillin stepped out of the bedroom and saw a group of cleaning robots quietly wiping the floor using nano-sponges.
Their movements were incredibly gentle, as if even the slightest sound might cause trouble.
The metallic decorations along the corridor had all been replaced with soft, sound-absorbing materials.
Even the smell in the air had changed.
Instead of machine oil and metal, there was now a strange fragrance personally mixed by Mrs. Brief, supposedly designed to soothe the fetus.
It smelled like a bizarre combination of strawberry milk and electronic circuits.
"Good morning, Young Master Krillin."
A butler robot glided over while holding a tray with a glass of water perfectly heated to 37.5°C.
"According to Dr. Brief's instructions, to ensure the health of the mistress and the fetus, any sound above four decibels is prohibited within a one-hundred-meter radius."
"All food must undergo spectral analysis to confirm the absence of allergens."
Krillin took the glass and looked past the robot.
Nearby, Dr. Brief was wearing a huge helmet-like detector while pressing his ear against the bedroom door.
"Vital signs are stable… energy fluctuations are unusually strong…" he muttered excitedly. "My dear grandson, let Grandpa collect a little more data…"
On the other side, Mrs. Brief approached with a pot of strangely colored soup bubbling with green foam.
"Krillin, this soup is made from rare healing herbs and energy fruits," she said lovingly. "It's very beneficial for the baby. Let Bulma drink it while it's still hot."
Krillin stared at the pot and twitched slightly.
This wasn't prenatal care.
It looked more like a full combat readiness protocol.
Shaking his head helplessly, he pushed open the bedroom door and walked inside.
Bulma sat on the bed, leaning against the headboard while flipping through a parenting magazine irritably.
"This is ridiculous!" she complained. "Dad treats me like a research subject, and Mom treats me like a nutrition container!"
"I'm pregnant, not a fragile artifact!"
Krillin smiled and sat beside her, gently holding her hand.
"They're just worried about you," he said. "After all, this is a big moment for the family."
He placed his palm softly against Bulma's rounded abdomen and closed his eyes.
A trace of pure Qi slowly flowed from him into the tiny life growing inside.
This had become his daily routine—using his energy to nurture the unborn child.
With Genius Intellect activated, Krillin's perception reached an incredible microscopic level.
He could sense the tiny life within.
Every cell radiated explosive vitality, and the genetic structure shimmered like a constellation.
The System immediately responded.

Krillin's heart trembled slightly.
The Saitama Template could actually be inherited.
Even at only 3.5%, it meant his child would already stand near the top of Earth's biological hierarchy from birth.
Just then, something unexpected happened.
The strand of Qi he had transferred was gently touched.
A faint but pure energy suddenly flowed back from inside the fetus, as if responding to him.
Though weak, the energy carried a natural sense of connection.
Krillin's eyes snapped open in shock.
"What's wrong?" Bulma asked nervously.
"He… he's responding to me," Krillin's voice trembled slightly.
This feeling was more powerful than defeating any enemy.
It was not strength.
It was bloodline connection.
The little life inside Bulma greedily absorbed Krillin's Qi and even tried to imitate it with its own newborn energy.
"Little rascal," Krillin chuckled softly, "trying to learn martial arts already?"
From that moment on, he became even more diligent with nurturing the fetus.
Almost every day, he gently wrapped Bulma's abdomen in Qi, enjoying this unique communication between father and child.
The Day of Birth
The largest private hospital in West City had been completely reserved.
Outside the delivery room, Dr. Brief paced nervously.
Even Master Roshi was too anxious to read his favorite magazines.
Meanwhile, the Launch sisters were either praying or polishing rocket launchers, threatening to blow up the hospital if anyone caused Bulma pain.
Suddenly—
"WAAAAH!"
A loud cry erupted from the delivery room.
But it wasn't an ordinary baby cry.
It sounded like a shockwave.
CRASH!
Every glass window, door, and instrument in the hospital instantly shattered into powder.
Dr. Brief's energy detector immediately went off the charts.
Master Roshi's sunglasses cracked in half.
Everyone stood there stunned.
Only Krillin smiled proudly.
The delivery room door opened, and pale-faced nurses pushed out a baby carriage.
They looked at Krillin as if he were some kind of monster.
Krillin gently lifted the newborn child.
Unlike him, the baby wasn't bald.
Soft black hair covered his small head.
Two dark eyes opened curiously, observing the world.
The powerful Qi surrounding him had already been subconsciously restrained, but the air around him still felt heavy.
"Give him a name," Bulma said weakly but happily.
"Let's call him Trunks."
Krillin froze for a moment.
He couldn't forget the tragic future warrior who carried the despair of an entire timeline.
He wanted his son to grow up in happiness—not burdened by such a fate.
"How about Trunks instead?" Krillin suggested after thinking for a moment.
"It's simple and easy to remember."
Bulma repeated it softly.
"Trunks…"
She smiled.
"Alright. Let's call him Trunks."
Krillin held the baby close.
Little Trunks reached out and grabbed Krillin's finger.
A faint stream of familiar Qi flowed through the contact.
Krillin smiled warmly.
Because of this tiny life, the world suddenly felt even more worth protecting.
And at that moment, Krillin had gained a new title.
Father.
