Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Overpowered Rewards

The mustache under the Announcer's blonde hair twitched like an electrocuted cockroach.

The microphone in his hand wasn't just an amplification tool; it was more like a lifeline.

The image of Mr. Shen being flicked away by a single finger was still replaying on the big screen.

But that didn't cool the crowd at all. If anything, it was like tossing a ladle of water into boiling oil.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Hold your breath for me!"

"In this moment, the wheels of history are stopping just to change a tire!"

The Announcer roared, his spit spraying a rainbow in the sunlight.

"The excitement continues!"

"We are about to witness the strongest duel of this Martial Arts Tournament! A battle between fellow disciples of the Kame School!"

"On one side is the unfathomable bald Devil King, Krillin, and on the other is the pure-hearted martial artist who grows stronger against strong foes, Goku!"

"There is only one champion, and only one strongest on Earth!"

Krillin stood on the ring, ignoring the mountain-shaking, tsunami-like noise around him.

His attention was locked on the light blue screen in front of him—visible only to him.

[Ding! Detected that the Host has entered the finals. Final mission triggered.]

[Mission Objective: Defeat Goku and win the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament championship.]

[Mission Restrictions: Do not kill the opponent. Do not fall out of the ring. Do not use external weapons.]

[Victory Reward: S-Rank Talent — "Goku's Battle Instinct (Plundered Version)".]

Krillin's breathing hitched for a beat.

He'd expected some attribute points or a skill book like "Destructo Disc: Modified."

He hadn't expected the System to put Goku's most core, most unreasonable cheat on the shelf like a limited-time deal.

He clicked the detailed description. The dense text made his scalp tingle and his heart race.

[Talent Description: The most unreasonable combat talent in the universe. For those who possess it, the body is the most precise martial arts photocopier.]

[Trait 1: Visual Replication. As long as it is a move based on "Ki" or "taijutsu," the user can understand the principle with one glance, grasp it with two, and use it better than the creator with three.

Reference cases: Master Roshi's Kamehameha practiced for fifty years, yet the original owner released it immediately after one look;

Tien Shinhan's Solar Flare, a Namekian's gigantification (requires physical compatibility), Destructo Disc—mastered instantly.]

[Trait 2: Absolute Adaptation. Evolves in real time during battle; the stronger the opponent, the faster the improvement.

Facing Hit's Time-Skip, the user can predict the future within a few moves and break time barriers; facing enemies beyond one's dimension, the user can forcibly break limits in a near-death state.]

[Trait 3: Domain of the Gods. Natural affinity for high-dimensional energy. Forbidden techniques that overdraw the body like the Kaio-ken, divine skills like the Spirit Bomb that borrow power from all things—both can be mastered quickly.

This includes Ultra Instinct, difficult even for Gods of Destruction—allowing every cell to generate independent consciousness, automatically evading and counterattacking without thought.]

[Note: After this talent merges with the Host's Saitama template, unpredictable chemical reactions may occur.]

Krillin swallowed hard.

This wasn't just a talent—this was basically the key to Zeno's backyard.

The Saitama template gave him the disappearance of an upper limit and absolute power—the foundation for "one punch shuts everyone up."

But the Dragon Ball world was packed with rule-based nonsense: sealing, body swaps, turning people into candy, time manipulation...

If he had that talent on top of Saitama's body, he wouldn't be a brute who only knew normal attacks.

He'd be a six-sided monster—able to use every method, and suppress ten methods with one strength.

"I'm taking this reward for sure."

Krillin clenched his fists, knuckles popping like exploding beans.

He stared at Goku like a starving man who'd just spotted a glistening roast chicken.

Goku was creeped out and instinctively took half a step back, covering his chest with both hands.

"Krillin, your eyes are so strange... just like when Bulma sees a gemstone."

"It's nothing like that. I'm just admiring my prize... oh no, my opponent."

Krillin grinned, teeth flashing, his bald head reflecting the sun like a mirror.

"Hehe, I don't know what you're thinking, but I feel like you're very strong right now—very strong!"

Goku tossed that weird feeling aside, replaced by pure excitement.

He rolled his ankles, sank his stance, and assumed the starting posture of the Kame School.

"Krillin, do you know? These three years I've been at the Lookout, I've looked forward to this moment in the finals every day."

His voice wasn't loud, but it cut straight through everything.

"Mr. Popo taught me to be as quiet as the sky and as fast as lightning. But as soon as I think about the hot blood during battle, I can't stay quiet!"

"Then don't be quiet."

Krillin touched his bracelet, and the Nano-Gravity Battle Suit retracted instantly, revealing muscles lean and tough, like marble carved into a weapon.

No exaggerated bulges—just smooth lines packed with explosive force.

Bulma immediately covered her face, but her fingers were spread wide.

"Wow... even though he has no hair, this physique is really cheating..."

"Come on, Goku." Krillin crooked a finger.

"Let me see how far a so-called genius can go."

Goku didn't waste words.

The stone slab under his feet shattered instantly.

Bang!

No run-up. No charge.

His figure vanished from the spot.

Pure speed—so fast the eye could only catch an afterimage.

The next second, Goku's fist was already beside Krillin's face.

"So fast!" Yamcha shouted from below. "Even faster than when he fought me!"

Krillin didn't dodge.

Under the calculation of [Genius Intellect], Goku's movements broke down into countless frames.

Muscle contraction. Ki direction. Center-of-gravity shifts.

Everything was visible.

If it were the old Krillin, he'd be thinking about his last words right now.

Instead, he merely tilted his head a fraction.

Whoosh.

The wind from the punch brushed past his ear, making the skin behind it dent slightly.

Goku's strike missed.

His body twisted in mid-air, and with a snap of his waist and abdomen, he whipped a kick toward Krillin's neck.

The motion flowed seamlessly, no drag from inertia.

Krillin raised his left arm vertically in front of his neck.

Thud!

The impact sounded dull, but it made the front row feel their hearts jolt.

Goku felt like he hadn't kicked an arm.

He'd kicked a pillar.

The recoil shot up his shin, numbing his leg.

"Is that all?" Krillin said calmly, his left arm not even trembling.

"Of course not!" Goku used the rebound to flip back.

The moment he landed, his hands gathered at his waist, blue light igniting instantly.

"Kamehameha!"

No charging time.

Ki moved with his will.

The beam roared toward Krillin from point-blank range—too close to dodge.

Krillin watched the blue light surge at him, the corners of his mouth lifting.

He didn't counter with a blast.

He reached out his right hand, fingers spread, and grabbed the beam.

Zzzzt!

Violent energy spun and cut in his palm, trying to shred the obstruction.

But his hand was a steel clamp.

He held the blast in place by sheer force.

"Disperse... for me!"

His fingers clenched.

Pop!

The Kamehameha—strong enough to flatten a small mountain—was crushed like a light bulb, breaking into floating specks that vanished in the air.

Silence.

Even Goku's eyes widened, mouth forming a perfect "O."

Crushing a Ki blast with bare hands?

Is he still human?

But Krillin caught something.

A subtle change in Goku's eyes.

Not fear.

Not frustration.

Contemplation.

And then Goku did something that made Krillin's scalp prickle.

He extended his right hand, fingers spread, imitating Krillin's earlier gesture.

He grabbed at the air, as if feeling for muscle power points and the way Ki could be layered.

[System Prompt: Goku is analyzing the Host's "Physical Interception Method".]

[Analysis Progress: 15%... 23%...]

"Holy crap, he can even learn this?" Krillin cursed inwardly.

He had crushed it with Saitama's physique. There was no technique.

And yet this kid was trying to interpret it as: "Wrap the palm with Ki and intercept the beam."

Even from the wrong demonstration, he was finding the correct path.

So this was the terror of that S-Rank talent.

"Interesting!" The greed in Krillin's eyes burned hotter.

"Goku, the more of a genius you are, the more I want to pack you up and take you away."

"That move just now was amazing!" Goku shook his hand, grinning again.

"But I roughly know how to deal with it now. Next, I'm going to get serious!"

"Just as well." Krillin cracked his neck.

"Warm-up is over. Be careful—don't let one of my punches make you cry."
