Luellen puffed her cheeks. She pinched one of his fingers. "Why does it sound like you're calling my best friend something else? Don't say anything bad about her. She's kind and wonderful… and… don't make assumptions just from this day…"
"If she's like that, we won't be in this situation." Leander laughed again. He moved his head down to kiss Luellen's neck. "I didn't mean to upset you…"
"She's nothing like the others you've met…" Luellen whispered, closing her eyes. She then collected his hand and held it with both of hers. "We should just sleep. We have to catch a flight back home. It might not be as early as this morning, but our bodies need to rest. Good night, Leander."
