Chapter 112 - Chapter 110

"Start…" Shirahoshi said weakly.

The gate to Gin opened silently, awaiting Shirahoshi's entry.

"Can't we go in with them?" Rayleigh asked.

He was very interested in this mysterious place.

"No, according to the records, there are various certifications, and only the Mermaid princess can enter," Neptune said.

Shirahoshi entered the Gin Gate, the gate closed, and then Shirahoshi felt a downward sensation.

When the door opened again, Shirahoshi found herself in a strange space.

Countless crystal jars stood in the space, each containing all sorts of creatures.

They were kept in pairs in crystal jars, and Shirahoshi noticed that some of the giant creatures seemed to have been shrunk.

"Where is this place?" Shirahoshi was a little scared and quickly tried to communicate with the consciousness in her mind.

A phantom figure appeared in front of Shirahoshi, looking exactly like Shirahoshi, but it was a human.

"This is the bloodline factor storage site, storing the bloodline factors of most creatures in the world," Guangying explained.

"Who are you?" Shirahoshi was startled.

"I am the ship spirit of Noah's Ark, a soul split from Benn's body using soul power," the figure said. "You can call me Eve."

Shirahoshi didn't understand bloodline factors or anything like that, but she was familiar with the name Eve. "What's your relationship with Sun Tree Eve?"

"Sun Tree Eve? You mean the Deep Sea Sun Generator?" Eve tapped the air, and a small Sun Tree Eve phantom appeared in front of Shirahoshi.

"Yes, this is it." Shirahoshi nodded.

Without the Sun Tree, Eve sending sunlight into the seabed, the Ryugu Kingdom would be pitch black.

"This is my invention, and I think it was named by the first Poseidon," Eve said. "In the deep sea, without light, human civilization would regress."

"I don't understand. I'm just here to find treasure." Shirahoshi lowered her head. She and Benn couldn't understand what Eve was saying.

"Treasure? This is the greatest treasure." Eve pointed to the crystal jars, "but it was scattered eight hundred years ago."

"Can I leave now?" Shirahoshi didn't want to stay any longer after hearing that there was no treasure here.

She was very timid, and when she saw the creatures in the crystal jars, she was so frightened that she almost cried.

The liquid inside seemed to freeze time, making them lifelike.

"The greatest treasure is gone, but there are other things," Eve said. "As the current Poseidon, will you reclaim your legion?"

"A legion?" Shirahoshi asked, puzzled.

Eve snapped her fingers, and a phantom planet appeared in front of Shirahoshi, covered with white dots of varying sizes.

"Currently, there are 53 super-large biological weapons, 1,024 large biological weapons, and 25,684 small biological weapons," Eve explained.

"There's another ultimate biological weapon. I need to check where it is."

Eve tapped the largest white dot on the phantom planet, and that area began to enlarge.

Shirahoshi saw the sea shrouded in white mist, with a dilapidated giant three-masted sailing ship floating on the surface.

Within the white mist, there was also a huge black shadow, and a faint red light could be seen flashing on the shadow.

"What is this?" Shirahoshi asked.

"A tentacle of the ultimate biological weapon Leviathan… Do we need to awaken it?" Eve asked.

"No need," Shirahoshi quickly said. "I'm here to find treasure; these things have nothing to do with treasure."

"With this legion, we can obtain any treasure," Eve said. "It's a power second only to the Heavenly King."

"I don't need it… You're talking about those Sea Kings, right? I can communicate with them."

Shirahoshi considered the Sea Kings her friends and felt a little uncomfortable when Eve referred to them as weapons.

"Without a controller, they won't completely obey your commands." Eve clapped her hands, and a platform rose from the ground, upon which rested an ornately decorated trident.

"Pick it up, the Hive consciousness is connecting. You are now the true Poseidon, the commander of the Deep Marine Corps!"

"I already told you I don't need it," Shirahoshi said. "Please let me leave…"

"You made the same choice as the previous two Mermaid princesses."

The platform retracted back into the ground. "But if you change your mind, you can come find me anytime."

"But we're leaving soon." Shirahoshi had heard Neptune mention this before. "We probably won't be coming back. Aren't you lonely here all by yourself?"

"I'm just a fragment of a soul," Eve said. "I don't have those kinds of emotions."

Eve closed the planetary phantom and opened another virtual screen, which showed the relocation of Fish-Man Island.

"Are you going to leave on that?" Eve asked.

"That's right, its name is also Noah," Shirahoshi said.

"It was named after the first Poseidon, wasn't it? I know what you need."

Eve tapped a few times in the void, and a platform rose beside Shirahoshi, upon which were several seeds.

"These are the deep-sea sunlight generators… which are the seeds of the Sun Tree Eve. As long as they are provided with sufficient nutrients, they will grow very quickly," Eve explained.

"Thank you!" This time, Shirahoshi did not refuse and carefully put away the Sun Tree Eve seeds.

Not all fishmen yearn for life on land; some fishmen still hope to live in the deep sea.

These seeds can bring light to the deep sea.

Seeing Shirahoshi's appearance, Eve suddenly asked a question.

"Do you still want to turn back into humans? I have a way to do that."

"Huh?" Shirahoshi was somewhat surprised. "I'm a mermaid, why would I want to become human?"

"Do the other Fishmen think the same way?"

"I don't know about that. Although being human is interesting, we are born this way, and we can't change our race just because of our interests," Shirahoshi said.

"I understand," Eve said.

Gin opened the gate and said, "You can go back now; the people outside will get anxious."

"Goodbye then, Eve," Shirahoshi said goodbye to Eve. "I'll come see you when I have time."

As the elevator carried Shirahoshi away, Eve suddenly spoke.

"You guys, make sure to protect this generation's commander."

The giant Sea Kings next to Noah, the Ship of Oath, suddenly raised their heads.

"Yes, Creator!"

Their voices resonated within Eve's spirit.

"The rest will remain hidden, waiting for the day when the traitors are brought to justice!"
