Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: The Shattering of the Emerald Throne

Emon, now acting as the 'Balance of the Void,' felt a tectonic shift in the spiritual world. The 1600 djinns, who had become the guardian conscience of humanity, were suddenly screaming in agony. A dark, oily fog began to leak from the village's ancient well—the very place where Emon's grandfather first made the pact.

The mega twist: The 1600 djinns were never 'slaves' of the copper ring. They were 'Fragmented Parts' of a much older god of chaos. By forcing them to be 'good' and act as a conscience, Emon had accidentally suppressed their nature so much that it created a 'Void-Tumor.' This tumor burst, and from it emerged a reflection of Emon himself, but twisted and made of emerald smoke. This reflection, naming itself 'Nom-E', claimed that Emon was the real monster for trapping spirits in a moral cage. Nom-E began to systematically 'un-make' every act of kindness Emon had ever performed. The village started to forget Emon's name, and as they forgot, Emon's spiritual form began to dissolve. To survive, Emon had to commit the ultimate sin: he had to become 'Evil' for a moment to match Nom-E's frequency and strike him down.
