Dr. Isaac Newton was born in Lincolnshire on the Isle of the Everlasting Sun in Europe, and once studied at Europe's renowned academy—Cambridge Academy.
Cambridge Academy had once been even more prestigious than Harvard Academy. Unfortunately, a large-scale Honkai Eruption destroyed this academic sanctuary that had carried three hundred years of world history.
Dr. Newton was one of the few survivors at the time. She was sent to MOTH, and soon displayed astonishing talent, publishing numerous top-tier scientific theories for humanity, such as "Theory of Gravitational Waves," "An Introduction to Gravity Wells," "Research on Controllable Nuclear Fusion," and so on.
Each of these could be called world-class scientific discoveries and theories—epoch-making technologies sufficient to influence the course of human history and the direction of civilization.
Every paper she published could be considered the lifelong pursuit of contemporary scientists. Writing just one would be enough to leave one's name in textbooks and consider one's life fulfilled.
And Dr. Newton had written several—and she was still producing more...
Not only in theory, but in practical engineering as well, Dr. Newton personally participated in research and development. She handed over a vast number of design blueprints directly to the engineering department, covering every detail imaginable.
Humanity's newest warships adopted controllable nuclear fusion engines, and the first-generation heavy particle accelerator main cannon also came from the M78 Engineering Laboratory under her leadership.
Originally, the MOTH engineering department had believed that the new Honkai reactor would become the next mainstream power source. Unexpectedly, Dr. Newton's sudden emergence solved the problem of controllable fusion, successfully creating a Tokamak device. This allowed fusion engines to become reality ahead of schedule, completely replacing the dangerous and uncontrollable Honkai reactor engines as the current mainstream power system.
This meant humanity could now manufacture small- and medium-sized airborne battleships. In fact, Newton and her team successfully developed the first fusion-powered warship.
Although the warship had been destroyed by the Third Herrscher during the Third Honkai Eruption, this did not prevent MOTH's upper management from giving her extremely high praise.
Newton's potential was obvious to all. If MOTH had not concealed her existence, her intelligence—far beyond that of ordinary people—would have shocked the world and led all scientists to worship her as a goddess.
"Before long, Dr. Newton will lead humanity into the cosmos!"
Everyone in the engineering department believed this. There was nothing to doubt. This omnipotent goddess of science had already released her theories and plans. As long as everyone executed them step by step, humanity would surely colonize the solar system.
Beyond her astonishing scientific talent, her beauty rivaled her intellect.
Dr. Newton's beauty and wisdom became the focal point of MOTH's quarterly research achievement presentation, drawing everyone's attention.
Her long golden hair shone like molten gold, as though a goddess had descended to the mortal world. Her eyes were deep and clear, as if capable of perceiving all the mysteries of existence. With a red headband perched atop her head, she looked playful and adorable, radiating youthful vitality.
The red headband added a touch of liveliness to her beautiful features. Though dressed in a female high school uniform, she did not lose her noble temperament. Instead, she exuded a knightly elegance. The uniform's front hung open slightly, the long sleeves ending in fine pleats that complemented the pleated red skirt trimmed with lace.
Black thigh-high stockings wrapped her exquisite legs, stirring the heart, while her entire presence radiated a powerful aura, as if she could conquer anything.
Dr. Newton was like a striking landscape—captivating and impossible to look away from.
On the very day she joined MOTH, Dr. Newton climbed onto the newcomer ranking list on MOTH's internal forum. This list was created by anonymous enthusiasts within MOTH to collect intelligence on promising new recruits.
At the time, Newton's talent had not yet been revealed. Yet with her adorable appearance alone, she attracted a large number of votes and ranked second on the newcomer list, second only to Elysia at number one.
Originally intended to reflect personal strength, the list was forcibly transformed by the two of them into a beautiful-girl ranking. Then, for reasons unknown, Dr. Mobius was also submitted to the list and shot up to third place overnight.
Well, although her public reputation was poor—one could even say terrible—Dr. Mobius's appearance was undeniable.
Still, MOTH was filled mostly with serious scientists. As elites among humanity's elite, any one of them could command respect elsewhere. Naturally, they treated this ranking list as nothing more than a lighthearted joke.
After all, MOTH enforced strict military-style management. The atmosphere was oppressive. Having such a forum to relieve work pressure was actually quite nice.
Later, when Dr. Newton displayed talent beyond even their reach, this group of scientists practically knelt before her... Dr. Newton is amazing. We failed to recognize greatness...
Claiming to be a newbie yet being a monster—was she some big shot using a secret account to come in and stomp beginners?
Of course, that was all in jest. There were only so many top figures in the global scientific community. Everyone had met before. They all knew each other's capabilities. Besides, scientists had their pride. Who would willingly hand over their research achievements to someone else?
One could only say that God favored Dr. Newton too much, granting her wisdom and beauty beyond ordinary reach.
What they did not know was that this genius Newton, praised by the scientific world as omnipotent, was going crazy in her office before the conference, staring at her own paper.
"What is this? Calculus again? The teacher's annotations are way too complicated—I can't understand them at all." Newton old man phone.jpg
"Ahhh—if I can't understand it, then I just can't understand it! I can't even understand the annotations—"
The girl threw herself onto the carpet, rolling around and crying in a tantrum. But no one paid attention to her, because Dr. Newton's office contained only herself.
Originally, as an assistant researcher, she should not have been assigned a private office. But because she was Newton—the dazzling supernova of MOTH—she had that privilege.
After exhausting herself, the twenty-year-old girl lay lazily on the sofa with her hair loose, holding up the manuscript and examining it from every angle, trying desperately to comprehend Vill-V Lecturer's line of research.
At the upcoming MOTH quarterly research achievement presentation, Newton would represent the engineering laboratory to give a speech. The content of the speech would be the theories Newton herself had published.
And those era-defying scientific theories of Newton's all came from the Three-Body technologies provided by Vill-V. Since Newton had not even graduated from Cambridge Academy, she naturally could not truly understand these future technologies.
"And I was studying for a doctorate in literature at Cambridge Academy! That's miles apart from a doctorate in physics—there's absolutely no overlap at all." Newton complained bitterly. "If you asked me to write about astronomy or classical philosophy, that'd be fine. But researching cutting-edge scientific papers? That's like asking a violinist to play a piano piece—playing the erhu would still be more reliable than this."
That said, Newton did indeed possess a talent for physics that ordinary people could hardly reach. Combined with the cram-style teaching of Lecturer, she could at least exchange a few words in front of genuine physics professors and put on a convincing act.
"I want to go play at Homu Family Park too..."
Newton once again switched into tantrum mode.
