Ayesha froze.
"Then who…?" she asked.
Adrian leaned closer to the glass.
"It was my mother," he said quietly.
"She believed you would have a better life away from me."
Ayesha's heart shook.
"What…?"
Adrian nodded slowly.
"She gave you to another family."
"To protect you from our father's enemies."
Tears rolled down Ayesha's face.
"All this time… we blamed the wrong people."
Adrian smiled sadly.
"Hatred is easy… truth is harder."
The guard signaled again.
Time was over.
"Goodbye, sister," he whispered.
"Goodbye…" she replied.
Peace Begins
Outside the prison—
Zayn waited.
She walked into his arms.
"It's over," she said softly.
He held her tightly.
"Yes."
"No more war."
Ryan stood nearby, smiling.
"Finally."
Months Later
The city looked peaceful again.
Zayn's company slowly recovered.
Ayesha moved back home.
Their relationship grew stronger.
Laughter returned.
Hope returned.
One evening—
They stood on the balcony.
Watching the sunset.
"Everything changed," she said.
Zayn nodded.
"But we survived."
She placed his hand on her stomach.
"Our family survived."
He smile
Suddenly—
She winced slightly.
"Ouch…"
Zayn panicked.
"What happened?!"
She looked at him.
Then smiled.
"I think… it's time."
