Manhattan ruins. Sunlight.

The last black mist dissolved. Real sky. Real warmth.

"Clean up the battlefield. Rebuild defensive lines." Jake issued orders to Tony and Steve, already turning away.

"And you?"

"Moon. The system just swallowed a conceptual weapon — I need to run diagnostics."

A blue quantum portal opened in the ruins. Jake stepped through with Gwen. Flash of light. Gone.

The Watcher Station. Core control room.

Jake sat at the console. The Omnitrix projected dense streams of green data.

Skurd — the palm-sized slime creature — lay on the watch face, let out a belch, and spat a clump of black deathly-energy residue onto the desk.

"Tasty. Slow to digest though." He smacked his lips.

"System status?"

[Core code — nominal.]

[Necro-Armor adaptation — complete across all forms.]

[Current universe threat rating: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Recent energy surge has triggered multiple intergalactic detection systems.]

"As expected."

Jake leaned back. Killing a primordial god and devouring a Celestial-slaying weapon produced energy fluctuations that couldn't be hidden from any advanced civilization paying attention.

And in this universe, everyone was paying attention.

"Preheat the orbital cannons. Full power."

Meanwhile.

Edge of the Milky Way. Counter-Earth.

A planet identical to Earth in mass and environment. No cities on its surface — only an all-metal fortress spanning tens of thousands of square kilometers. A laboratory the size of a country.

Deep inside. The genetic dissection room.

Under shadowless surgical lights, five metal restraint beds were arranged in a row.

The Guardians of the Galaxy — locked down tight.

"Let me GO! You psychopathic purple freak!" Quill thrashed against high-voltage energy chains that left scorch marks on his wrists.

"I am Groot!" Branches sprouted violently — and were instantly severed by laser cutters.

"I'll BITE your throat out!" Rocket clamped his jaws on an approaching mechanical arm. Half a tooth shattered.

The metal door slid open.

Dark-purple high-tech armor. A metal mask that concealed everything except obsession.

The High Evolutionary.

The most insane geneticist in the Marvel Universe walked past the screaming prisoners without a glance and went straight to the main console.

"Quiet."

One button.

ZZZT!

A million volts through all five beds simultaneously. The Guardians convulsed, screamed, and went limp.

The High Evolutionary didn't look at them. He looked at the wall.

A massive holographic projection played on loop.

Earth's orbit. Jake — Ultimate Humungousaur, Necro-Armor form — shattering Knull with a single punch. The footage froze on the moment of detransformation. Camera zoomed. Locked onto the green watch.

"A miracle of the Creator."

His eyes burned with fanaticism that made Thanos's conviction look casual.

"Centuries. I have spent centuries dissecting millions of species. Searching for the perfect genetic sequence."

His fingers traced the projected Omnitrix through the air.

"And the answer has been on an Earthling's wrist."

"Perfect storage. Perfect switching. Forced breakthrough of genetic limits into Ultimate Evolution." His voice trembled. "If I obtain this — I cross the barrier of the gods."

Two figures stepped from the shadows.

One — deep blue skin. Kree Empire.

The other — wrinkled chin. Skrull Empire.

"Lord High Evolutionary." The Kree commander bowed. "The joint fleet of the Three Great Empires has completed assembly. Three thousand Star Destroyers."

"Excellent."

The High Evolutionary turned.

"This Earthling killed Knull. Earth is the hottest target in the universe right now. My Sovereign Legion alone might take casualties."

He looked at the commanders.

"Your fleets lead the charge. Blockade the Moon base they call 'The Plumbers.'"

"But... his combat power—" The Skrull commander hesitated. The projection behind him showed a teenager ripping an ancient god apart bare-handed.

"Brute force."

The High Evolutionary picked up a syringe from the console — filled with glowing green liquid.

"The Omnitrix is technology. And technology has exploits. Genes have flaws."

He tossed the syringe to the commander.

"Inject this into their Moon base life-support system. It's an Omnitrix Genetic Interference Virus — tailored specifically for him."

He turned back to the screen. To the frozen image of Jake's face. To the watch on his wrist.

"I will strip that device from him."

A pause.

"Along with his entire arm."
