Chapter 46 The Auction
The last two days were spent as Shakky was fully satisfied. Gloriosa glared at her. She was dragged in bed by Shakky every night And both of them made damn sure, She was so exaussested that she couldn't even complaint.
Just remembering the wild nights made her blush as a tingling sensation passed through her abdomen. 'no, i don't like that. I'm just helping Shakky. Yes that's it.' Gloriosa comferted herself.
Ren took Yamato, Hancock, and the others around Sabaody to enjoy themselves. Sonia and Mari stayed close to the group, mostly because Hancock was with them, though they were clearly curious about everyone else as well.
Today was the day of the auction. Ren looked at Hancock, holding the Devil Fruit in his hand. "You sure you want this Devil Fruit? It's one of the best for you, but you can wait until we find a Mythical Zoan."
"Nope, I want to grow stronger," she said firmly. Then she hesitated slightly, looking at the pink heart-shaped fruit. "But… can I really eat it?"
Ren smiled and patted her head gently. "Of course you can. Soon, I'll be moving Amazon Lily to Wano, so don't worry."
Hancock took a deep breath and bit into the fruit. Her face immediately turned red from the taste, but she forced herself to swallow it. "Blah… it's even more disgusting than what they say."
Yamato winced in sympathy. "Yep, the most disgusting thing ever." Hancock closed her eyes and formed a heart shape with her hands. "Mero Mero Mellow."
A pink heart-shaped beam shot forward, passing through the wall in front of her. Yamato blinked in confusion. "Why didn't it do anything?"
Shakky patted her head lightly. "That beam turns people who feel attraction toward Hancock into stone."
Hancock clenched her fists, determination clear in her eyes. "I will grow stronger." Ulti pouted from the side. "Stupid Ren, I also want a Devil Fruit."
Everyone laughed at her reaction. "You'll get yours soon. Stop complaining," Ren said. Ulti huffed, but Hancock gently patted her head. "Don't worry, you'll get a super strong Devil Fruit."
Ulti nodded happily, while Ren watched in mild surprise. Hancock was already treating Ulti like a little sister. Will she become the big sister of this group? Ren thought, slightly amused.
"Well, everyone, let's go to the auction house," Ren said. Yamato grinned and grabbed her kanabo eagerly. "Hehehe, I can't wait to see how much my first bounty will be after beating up those Celestial Dragons."
The Boa sisters froze instantly. Hancock turned to Yamato in shock. "What are you talking about? If you do that, the Admirals—" She stopped mid-sentence and looked at Ren, who was smiling calmly.
A dangerous idea formed in her mind. "Um… can I beat up one too?" she asked. Ren blinked, clearly not expecting that. "Well… you can if you want."
"Big sis?" Sonia and Mari looked completely stunned. Hancock flicked her hair back confidently. "Hmph, with Ren here, Admirals are nothing. So why should I fear them?"
Ren could already see the untouchable, cold Empress in the making. Just then, Ulti jumped up excitedly. "Then I want to as well! You don't let me fight, so you can't stop me."
Jack also raised his hand. "I want to beat those 'gods' too. How dare they call themselves that when even Kaido-sama and Ren-sama don't?" His voice was filled with admiration.
Page One hesitated before raising his hand. "Um… Ren-aniki, can I too?" Gloriosa and Shakky's mouths twitched at the sight.
"What is this? You kids are really something," Gloriosa said, completely speechless. Shakky laughed. "Well, it would be quite amusing to see those Celestial Dragons beaten up by kids."
Ren burst out laughing. "Bahahaha, fine. You all can beat them up. Like I said, as long as I'm alive, no one can touch you, so go wild."
They walked toward the auction house together. Hancock occasionally glanced at Ren while walking beside him. Ren noticed and tilted his head slightly. "Do you need something, Hancock?"
"Nope," she shook her head quickly and went back to talking with Ulti and her sisters. Shakky smirked knowingly. "Well, you guys, I'll be going now," she said, disappearing in a flash of lightning.
Yamato and the others waved as she left. Ren soon noticed a very familiar birdman waiting nearby. "Yo, Morgans," he called out with a wave.
Morgans turned toward him, narrowing his eyes. "Are you the one who called me here?" Ren nodded. "A very big news story will be ready for you soon."
Morgans looked at him suspiciously but followed as they entered the auction house. The auction began shortly after they took their seats.
Yamato yawned loudly. "Ren, this is so boring." Hancock and the others seemed to feel the same way. "Well, it's about to end soon, so don't worry," Ren replied calmly.
Morgans was growing impatient. "Where is the damn big news?" Ren's mouth twitched. "Stop acting like a child."
Morgans gritted his teeth in anger. If not for his journalists being held hostage by this man, he wouldn't tolerate this. Damn it… just who is this man?
Yamato and Hancock looked toward the Celestial Dragons sitting arrogantly nearby. "Hey, Ren, are those the Celestial Dragons? They don't look strong at all," Yamato said.
"They look disgusting," Hancock added bluntly. Morgans stared at them in horror. "Y-you… what are you saying—"
Ren grinned. "Don't worry. It's almost time. You can go all out soon."
"Go all out? What are you planning?" Morgans' feathers stood on end as a terrifying thought crossed his mind. Hahaha… no way. They can't be that bold.
"Ladies and gentlemen, now we present the highlight of today!" the auctioneer announced loudly. "Three Kuja slaves captured recently, along with several treasures of the sea—the Devil Fruits!"
Boa Hancock, Boa Sandersonia, and Boa Marigold were brought onto the stage in chains.
Morgans stared at them, then slowly turned his head toward Hancock, who was casually chatting with Yamato and Ulti. His eyes widened as he looked at Sandersonia and Marigold, who were also present with Gloriosa.
His journalist instincts screamed. He might actually get the biggest story of his life. His eyes lit up with excitement.
