Chapter 110 - Chapter 111: In Emon's Name

Europa now had its third generation. Those born on Europa, raised on Europa, considered Europa their home. Among them was a boy, named Emon. Yes, Emon. His parents had named him after Emon. But the weight of that name nearly broke him.

Emon was fifteen. He studied at Europa's school. His friends called him "Little Emon." But he knew—he wasn't like Emon. Emon was a doctor who saved people. He couldn't do anything.

Today at school, a project had to be submitted. The topic—"My Inspiration." Everyone wrote about Emon. But Little Emon couldn't write. He felt he was dishonoring Emon's name.

After school, he returned home. His mother, Lina (Nova's granddaughter), saw him worried.

"What happened, son?"

Emon was silent. Then he said, "Mother, why did you name me Emon?"

Lina was surprised. "Why? Emon was a great man. We want you to be like him."

Emon shouted, "I can't! I'm not like him! I can't do anything! I'm not a doctor, I haven't saved anyone, I've done nothing!"

Emon entered his room and closed the door. Lina stood outside the door. Tears in her eyes.

That night, Lina went to Emon's room. Emon lay on the bed, face turned away.

"Son, I'll tell you a story," Lina said.

Emon said nothing.

Lina began: "Once there was a doctor. He saved many patients. But one patient died. The doctor couldn't sleep at night. He thought, 'I have failed. I'm not a good doctor.'"

Emon was listening. His ears perked up.

"That doctor cried. He thought he wasn't enough. He thought he wasn't worthy of his name. But he didn't stop. He tried harder. Saved more patients."

Emon turned around. "Who was that doctor?"

"Emon. The same Emon whose name you bear."

Emon was amazed. "Emon cried? He failed?"

"Yes. And not just that—he wrote in his diary, 'I am not enough.' But he didn't stop. That's why he became great. If you don't stop, you too will become great."

Emon was silent. Then he said, "Can I become Emon?"

Lina embraced him. "You are Emon. When you make mistakes, when you fail, don't be afraid. Emon too made mistakes. Emon too failed. But he didn't stop. You too won't stop."

The next day, Emon went to school. He wrote his project. But he didn't write about Emon's story. He wrote his own story—how he feared Emon's name, how he feared failure, but how he learned to fight.

Everyone was amazed reading his project. The teacher said, "Emon, you truly are like Emon. Because you have conquered fear."

Emon smiled. For the first time, he liked his name.

A week later, a big ceremony on Europa. Emon's birthday. Lina took the stage. Beside her, Emon (Little Emon).

"Today is Emon's birthday. We all remember him. But today I want to say—Emon wasn't just a doctor. He was a person who made mistakes, failed, but didn't stop. And today my son Emon has taught me—Emon's name doesn't mean being perfect. Emon's name means fighting."

Little Emon approached the microphone. His voice trembling.

"My name is Emon. I used to fear Emon's name. I thought I wasn't like him. But today I understand—as Emon was, so am I. He made mistakes, I do. He failed, I do. But he didn't stop, and I won't either. I am proud of Emon's name."

Millions applauded. Tears in Lina's eyes, but a smile on her face.

That night, Emon opened his diary—it was Lina's diary, before her Anannya's, before her Lina's (Mars' Lina). On the diary's first page was written—"Love is immortal."
