Before her, Victor was on his knees like a repentant puppy.
His body had simply given way.
The pressure emanating from her wasn't something one could face standing unprepared, and at that moment, he definitely wasn't prepared. His muscles trembled involuntarily, as if every fiber was being forced to acknowledge something far above him in the chain of existence.
