Chapter 244 - Chapter 243: Galactic Baseballer

Faced with the thugs' unbearably filthy language, the four girls each reacted differently.

Acheron remained as calm as a still lake, as though the noise around her had nothing to do with her. There wasn't the slightest ripple in her violet eyes, and it was obvious that these people had never been worthy of her attention from the very beginning.

Meanwhile, Yunli's face flushed red. Her fair fists were clenched so tightly that her knuckles had turned slightly white. Sparks seemed to dance within her golden eyes, and even her breathing had grown noticeably heavier.

Stelle was initially angered by the thugs' vulgar remarks, but the moment she heard their evaluation of Mo Xin, that trace of anger was instantly replaced by amusement.

"Pfft—"

She couldn't help laughing.

As for Mo Xin—the only one among them who had actually been looked down upon—

She was completely furious.

An invisible heatwave seemed to ignite around her, and for the first time ever, she even managed to outshine her own master, Yunli, by a tiny margin.

"Hmph. Little girls, you'd better behave if you know what's good for you. Otherwise, when you're crying and begging for mercy later, us 'big brothers' are going to feel so sorry for you!"

The leader licked the corner of his mouth. The greed in his eyes was completely undisguised, and the mockery in his voice was enough to make anyone sick.

As soon as he finished speaking, the surrounding thugs burst into laughter as well. Their arrogant, overbearing expressions made it seem as though victory was already theirs.

The next second, one of the thugs wiped the drool from the corner of his mouth and impatiently shouted,

"Why are we wasting so much time? I can't wait to... pfft-ugh—"

Before he could finish speaking, it was as though an invisible giant hammer had struck him.

His eyes rolled back instantly as he spat out a mouthful of blood, his body flying backward in a perfect arc before crashing heavily into a nearby stone wall with a deafening clang.

A huge hole was blasted into the wall.

Half of his body became embedded inside it, his limbs hanging limply as he went completely motionless.

Mo Xin (╬◣д◢): "Yeah, why are you talking so much?! Take a kick from your grandaunt first!"

Mo Xin retracted her kicking leg.

Without pausing for even a moment, her figure shot toward the second target like an arrow released from a bow.

The thugs froze where they stood, their minds going completely blank.

Only after seeing their companion embedded in the wall did they finally come back to their senses.

They stared at Mo Xin, who had suddenly appeared among them, horror filling their faces.

Every trace of their previous arrogance vanished as they instinctively stumbled several meters backward.

The next moment, Mo Xin was already exchanging blows with one of them.

By the time the remaining four thugs finally reacted, they glared at her with bloodshot eyes.

"Damn it! This bitch actually dares to fight back! We—"

Before they could finish speaking, Yunli had already appeared between them and Mo Xin.

Stepping sideways to block their path, her fair face was as cold as frost.

Yunli was never one for wasting words.

She simply clenched her small fist and threw a punch.

The man facing her looked at the delicate-looking little fist and sneered disdainfully.

Confident in his own strength, he casually raised one hand to block, never once wondering how Yunli had managed to appear before him in an instant.

Crack—

Stelle (つ﹏⊂): "Hiss... that looks like it really hurt."

With a crisp crack, the disdain on the man's face instantly disappeared, replaced by overwhelming agony.

He watched helplessly as his palm made contact with that fair little fist...

Only for his entire arm to bend backward at a horrifying angle.

"Aaaagh... pfft-ugh—"

Before the miserable scream could fully leave his mouth, Yunli raised a foot and kicked him away.

Like a broken sack, the man flew backward and slammed into the companion standing behind him.

The unfortunate thug who was struck let out a muffled groan.

His chest felt as though it had been hit by a speeding truck, leaving him in so much pain that he could barely breathe.

But what truly filled him with despair—

Was watching Yunli pull a greatsword even taller than herself out of thin air.

Gripping the hilt with both hands, she spun it around with tremendous force.

"Smash!"

Accompanied by her crisp shout, Old Mettle flew from her hands.

The man's pupils shrank violently.

His entire body froze in place from fear.

He couldn't even gather the strength to raise an arm in defense.

All he could do was watch helplessly as the crimson greatsword rapidly expanded before his eyes.

Despair engulfed him like a rising tide.

Rumble—

The strike landed with terrifying force.

The two thugs were sent flying like kites with broken strings, crashing straight through the wall behind them.

Bricks and rubble collapsed with a thunderous roar, completely burying both of them beneath the debris.

"For real?!!"

The last thug who witnessed everything had his entire worldview shattered by Yunli's overwhelming strength.

His pupils contracted to pinpoints.

Cold sweat instantly soaked his back, and his body trembled uncontrollably.

His legs had become so weak that he could barely remain standing.

Yunli calmly stepped forward.

Looking at the two men buried beneath the rubble, her delicate face remained expressionless as she casually reached out and pulled Old Mettle free.

"Pathetic."

She let out a soft snort.

Her golden eyes then slowly shifted toward the final thug, who was rooted to the spot in terror.

The moment their eyes met—

The man's entire body shuddered violently.

An overwhelming sense of terror instantly consumed his mind.

Monster! She's definitely a monster! If I don't run, I'm dead!

That single thought completely occupied his mind.

His face turned deathly pale.

His lips trembled so violently that he couldn't utter a single word.

Without another thought, he turned and fled for his life, his legs shaking so badly that he nearly tripped over himself.

But at that exact moment—

Stelle stepped in front of him.

"Get out of my way!"

Looking at Stelle blocking his escape, the man's eyes were filled with madness.

He suddenly accelerated, charging straight toward her.

It was obvious that he intended to carve out his own path to survival by force.

Stelle frowned slightly as she realized the man before her was actually an Ability User.

But that wouldn't change the outcome.

With a casual wave of her hand, a metal baseball bat gleaming with a cold metallic sheen appeared in her grasp.

"I, the Galactic Baseballer, shall hit the first ball that will shock the world!"

The fleeing thug was momentarily stunned.

Seeing the silver-haired girl gripping a metal baseball bat in a perfect home-run stance, a ruthless glint flashed through his eyes.

There was an absolute monster behind him.

He couldn't stop.

The next second, not only did he refuse to slow down, he instead clenched his fist tightly.

The muscles in his arm bulged as he threw a full-force punch straight at Stelle's face.

"Perfect timing!"

Stelle's eyes sharpened.

Lowering her center of gravity into a stable batting stance, brilliant blue lightning instantly surged across the metal bat.

Crackling arcs of electricity raced along its surface as she fixed her gaze on the incoming fist.

She was ready.

"Die—"

"Taste this!"

Bang!!!

The instant the metal baseball bat collided with the man's fist, an explosive impact rang out.

A figure shot high into the air.

Like a baseball struck with a perfect home run, the man flew backward through the sky before crashing straight through a window on the fifth or sixth floor of the Ability Bureau.

The impact even bent the window frame as he tumbled into the building.

The crisp sound of shattering glass mixed with his miserable scream echoed sharply throughout the entire Ability Bureau.

Having successfully reached base, Stelle stylishly spun the baseball bat in her hand, pale blue arcs of electricity tracing beautiful curves through the air.

She raised her left hand to shade her eyes, narrowed them slightly, and a proud smile curled across her lips.

"As expected of me... but did I use a little too much force?"
