Jiraiya smiled and said casually while ordering a bottle of sake.
"It's nothing important. I just wanted to see what kind of person you are after shining so brightly in the Chunin Exams."
Sora shook his head slightly and replied calmly, "I'm just a normal person, nothing special."
After saying that, he closed his eyes slightly and remained silent.
Jiraiya immediately realized the problem.
Sora had seen through his intentions instantly.
He originally wanted to chat casually with Sora first to relax the atmosphere before bringing up the real topic, but Sora had no intention of giving him that opportunity.
Sora knew Jiraiya had come for Tsunade, not for him.
Whether Tsunade chose to return to Konaha or refuse, Sora would support her decision without interfering.
Because of this, he gave Jiraiya no opening to manipulate the conversation.
Jiraiya thought helplessly, This kid is really troublesome.
Since his plan had failed, he could only speak directly.
He sighed and said, "Tsunade, we are old friends, so I won't waste time. You should already understand the current situation in Konaha.
I won't make excuses for them, but that village was created by your grandfather and the others. It represents the life-long efforts of the previous generation."
He looked directly at Tsunade and continued, "You wouldn't want to watch them completely destroy the village, would you?
Right now you are the only person with enough strength and prestige to become Hokage. As the granddaughter of the First Hokage, you are the legitimate successor and no one can oppose you."
Tsunade let out a cold laugh.
"I have absolutely no interest in the Hokage position."
She continued bluntly, "Being Hokage is exhausting, miserable, and troublesome. I've said it before. Anyone who wants to become Hokage is a fool.
Besides, Konaha has already decayed to this level while those idiots continue fighting among themselves. I have no intention of cleaning up their mess."
Suddenly Naruto slammed the table and shouted angrily, "What did you say? You called people who become Hokage fools?"
"I won't let you get away with that!" Naruto immediately rushed forward.
However, Jiraiya grabbed him by the back of his clothes and lifted him effortlessly.
Naruto struggled in midair but could not move forward even a single step.
Jiraiya shouted, "Shut up, Naruto!"
He threw Naruto back into his seat and glared at him.
Naruto's impulsive behavior was exactly what Jiraiya feared most.
If Tsunade became truly angry, she might kill Naruto with a single punch.
Jiraiya glanced at Sora again.
Sora remained silent the entire time, giving him absolutely no opportunity to influence the conversation.
Then he looked at Naruto and sighed inwardly.
Naruto had strength, but his mentality still needed time to mature.
Tsunade glanced at Naruto with a mocking expression and said, "I'd like to see how you plan to stop me. You can't even defeat Sora, whom I personally trained, yet you want to challenge me?"
Naruto shouted angrily, "I'll show you right now—"
Before he could finish speaking, Jiraiya pressed his hand against Naruto's neck.
Naruto instantly lost consciousness and collapsed.
Jiraiya sighed and continued seriously, "Tsunade, regardless of everything else, I still hope you will become the Hokage."
He then spoke in a lower voice.
"After the Third Hokage died, Danzo started making moves. And the Hyuga Clan has already sided with him."
Tsunade's eyes narrowed slightly as killing intent flashed across her gaze.
Jiraiya deliberately knocked Naruto unconscious because he did not want Naruto to hear about Konaha's dark political side yet.
In Naruto's heart, Konaha was still a heroic and noble village.
Destroying that belief too early would be cruel.
Tsunade snorted coldly.
She was not stupid.
She understood immediately why the Hyuga Clan had allied with Danzo.
She did not care who became Hokage or what happened inside Konaha.
But she would never allow anyone to target Sora.
Jiraiya continued explaining, "The Hyuga Clan normally only publicly supports whoever becomes Hokage. They never choose sides before the Hokage is decided.
And they certainly wouldn't cooperate with someone like Danzo who hides in the shadows. But this time is different.
They made an alliance. The reason is related to your disciple."
Jiraiya looked at Sora before continuing.
"They want Sora's body. More precisely, they want the secrets of his Bloodline Limit and everything related to it. Your presence is the only thing preventing them from acting.
But they cannot allow someone who can break the Hyuga Clan's techniques to exist freely. So they chose to support Danzo as Hokage.
In return, everything belonging to your disciple will belong to the Hyuga Clan."
Tsunade suddenly laughed coldly.
"Jiraiya, it seems you're no longer the same person I once knew. You sound just like a politician now."
After saying that, she stood up and walked upstairs toward her room.
Sora and Shizune silently followed her.
Jiraiya did not try to stop them.
He had already said everything he needed to say.
Now the decision depended entirely on Tsunade herself.

Inside the room, Sora immediately spoke.
"Mom, you don't need to worry about anything. Even if the Hyuga Clan and Danzo really work together, I'm not afraid.
If they come after me, I'll kill every one of them."
He continued calmly, "Actually I hope they come. At my current level, simply training isn't enough to improve. They would be perfect opponents to help sharpen my strength."
Tsunade smiled faintly.
Instead of responding directly, she turned and hugged him.
"You foolish boy. I already understood Jiraiya's intentions. How could their schemes influence my decision?"
She continued softly, "But in the future your enemies will only increase. They will use every possible method against you.
If I become Hokage, your growth will be safer and faster. And until you become as powerful as my grandfather, having a powerful faction behind you is extremely important."
She sighed quietly.
"My Second Granduncle died because he was surrounded and attacked by enemies. Without support, even the strongest person can be killed."
Sora hugged her gently and said, "I don't want you to do something you don't want."
Tsunade blinked playfully and asked with a small smile, "How do you know I don't want to do it?"
