Sora was emotionally inexperienced, but he still understood basic boundaries.
Carrying Hinata could be justified because of her injured foot and his need to check it quickly, but removing her shoes himself would be crossing the line.
Hinata blushed and said softly, "It's fine, I don't need that."
Sora frowned slightly and said firmly, "Stop being stubborn and take them off because if you aren't careful you could become crippled."
Hearing this, Hinata hurriedly removed her shoes.
A pair of fair, jade-like feet appeared.
As the young lady of a large clan, her body was constantly nourished by chakra.
Even with intense training, her feet showed no signs of roughness or calluses.
Sora examined her ankle carefully.
It was clearly swollen.
The injury had likely come from her earlier fight with Temari, and the continuous high-speed travel afterward had worsened it.
A green glow appeared in Sora's palm.
Although he wasn't proficient in advanced medical ninjutsu, his chakra control allowed him to perform basic medical techniques.
Hinata's injury wasn't severe.
It was simply bruising and strain around the ankle, with no bone damage.
With her natural physique and some medical ninjutsu, recovery would be very fast.
As Sora gently pressed her acupoints and circulated healing chakra, Hinata suddenly cried softly, "Mmm!"
Her face turned bright red, as if it might start steaming.
This was the first time in her life that someone had touched her foot.
Her feet were extremely sensitive.
Sora's fingers pressed along the acupoints while the medical ninjutsu dissolved the bruising.
The mixture of tingling, numbness, and faint prickling sensations made Hinata unable to suppress her reaction.
Embarrassed, she quickly covered her mouth.
About half an hour later, the swelling around her ankle had almost completely disappeared.
Under the combined effect of medical ninjutsu and her own physique, the injury had recovered nearly eighty to ninety percent.
Sora gently released her foot and helped her stand.
Only then did he finally look at her properly.
Earlier, he had focused entirely on the injury and hadn't paid attention to anything else.
Now he noticed that Hinata's entire face was red.
She looked like she was about to steam.
The shy and adorable expression made a strange feeling stir within Sora's heart.
Hinata noticed him staring and became even more embarrassed.
She quickly stood up and said softly, "Thank you, Sora."
Then she hurried away.
Tsunade's teasing voice suddenly sounded, "Are you falling for that little girl because she is indeed very cute and pure, and do you want me to teach you how to pick up girls?"
Sora rolled his eyes and said irritably, "Get lost because I don't have time to think about things like that."
Even so, Hinata's shy expression continued to flash through his mind.
Meanwhile, Hinata had run to another part of the building.
Her heart was pounding violently.
Her mind was in chaos.
She thought nervously, Why am I so happy right now?
Could it be that I like Sora?
She immediately shook her head.
That's impossible because we just met, and didn't I like Naruto before?
But then she hesitated.
Did I really like Naruto?
Her face grew even redder.
Hinata, how could you think like this because you're such a bad girl!
Her thoughts were a complete mess.
Fortunately, there were still several days before the next stage of the Chunin Exams.
Hinata had plenty of time to calm herself down.
If she had to fight immediately with her mind in such turmoil, she would definitely be in danger.
Meanwhile, Sora returned to the designated resting room.
He stretched slightly and said, "There are still a few days left so it's time to rest."
Normally, Sora wouldn't feel tired.
But fighting Orochimaru required constant vigilance.
The exhaustion he felt wasn't physical but mental.
Inside the room, there was a soft pop.
Tsunade and Shizune dispelled their Transformation Jutsu.
At the same time, Tsunade cast a gengutsu over the room. Anyone who entered would only see Sora resting alone.
Unless someone possessed a Three-Tomoe Sharingan and jonin-level ability, the illusion would be impossible to detect.
Tsunade walked over with a smile and asked gently, "So, are you tired after fighting Orochimaru?"
She sat on the bed and lifted Sora's head onto her soft thighs.
Her hands glowed faintly with chakra as she began gently massaging his temples.
Sora closed his eyes and replied tiredly, "Of course I am because fighting a sannin as a chunin would exhaust anyone."
A trace of fatigue appeared in his expression.
Seeing this made Tsunade feel a pang of concern.
She said softly, "Then just rest."
Ignoring Shizune watching nearby, Tsunade kicked off her shoes and lay down on the bed while holding Sora close.
She pulled him into her arms and let his head rest against her chest.
Shizune quietly stood guard nearby.
Even though Tsunade's gengutsu protected the room, Shizune still kept watch out of habit.
Looking at Sora sleeping peacefully, she couldn't help but feel amazed.
Lady Tsunade has changed so much, she thought.
She was no longer depressed like before.
Instead, she had regained the spirited nature of the Senju princess.
And all of that was because of Sora.
Shizune looked back at him with admiration.
She remembered the infant who had nearly died in the jaws of a wild wolf.
Now that same child had grown strong enough to fight Orochimaru.
If he used all his trump cards, even I might not be able to defeat him now, she thought.
Instead of feeling discouraged, Shizune felt immense pride.
After all, she had helped raise him.
Seeing him grow stronger filled her with joy.
The next morning, Sora woke up early.
With his physique, a short rest was enough to recover.
However, sleeping in Tsunade's embrace had given him an unusual sense of peace, just like when he was a child.
He looked at the beautiful face beside him.
This woman had completely changed his life.
To Sora, Tsunade was the most precious person in the world.
He would never allow anything to happen to her.
Sora quietly stood up and gently covered Tsunade with a blanket.
In reality, Tsunade had already woken up the moment he moved, but she continued pretending to sleep.
Sora murmured to himself, "There are still a few days left so it's time to continue developing new ninjutsu."
The room was spacious enough for several people to train inside.
Sora formed hand seals and shouted, "Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Ten shadow clones appeared instantly.
Some began cultivating chakra.
Others focused on developing new ninjutsu.
For a shinobi, the path to strength was like sailing against the current.
If you didn't advance, you would fall behind.
Sora's main body, however, continued practicing his Water and Fire tempering fusion.
Since his battle with Orochimaru, the duration of his tempering process had increased dramatically.
His qi and blood grew stronger every day.
His body, vitality, and overall strength had all improved greatly.
All of this progress came from the constant refinement of Water and Fire tempering.
