She'd always wanted him. But now, she wanted him with an intensity that was almost overwhelming.
The water ran down her body, and she imagined it was his hands.

The penthouse door opened at 9:47 PM.
Marco was not with him, Dimitri had sent him to maintain perimeter security outside.
Juliet appeared in the hallway.
"Welcome home, Signor Valentino," she said respectfully.
"Thank you, Juliet," Dimitri said. "How is everything?"
"All is well, Signor," Juliet said. "Signora Eve is in your room. She has gone to rest."
"Thank you," Dimitri said. "You can retire for the evening. I'll see to everything else."
"Of course, Signor," Juliet said. "Rest well."
She bowed slightly and made her way toward the servants' quarters.

Dimitri made his way deeper into the penthouse.
He moved through the main living area, past the kitchen, toward the master bedroom at the rear of the house.
And then he heard it.
Water.
The sound of the shower running.
