Chapter 171: Use Your Mouth
Before Yvonne could react, Elias kissed her ear.
The touch was gentle. Reverent, even. His lips brushed the shell of her ear as if he were offering worship instead of provocation, but the heat of his breath slipped in after every kiss, soft and deliberate. It poured into the most sensitive place with every exhale, as if he meant to melt her thoughts from the inside.
Yvonne did not move.
She sat still beneath him, her body as composed as a statue in a chapel. If anyone looked only at her face, they might think her soul had left and only the shell remained.
But Elias felt something move around his waist.
He lowered his eyes.
Then he laughed softly.
Yvonne's hands had found his waist without either of them naming it. Her arms rested there as if by accident, but her fingers had already curved against him.
The statue had been tempted.
Elias was not satisfied with that.
