Sasuke's crimes were now so grave that he had been placed on every nation's list of targets to be eliminated.
This made Aoi's mission of getting the manhunt revoked seem far more difficult…
Yet Aoi remained unfazed.
Once he was fully part of the story, none of this would matter.
And acting under the name of Senju Hashirama, there was much he could accomplish.
"Gaara, Kazekage — I demand that the Five Kage Summit be reconvened," Aoi said with a faint smile.
"I will reveal the full truth behind everything that has happened."
"..."
After a long pause, Gaara nodded firmly.
Who would ever have imagined that the First Hokage, the God of Shinobi himself, was still alive?
As for whether it was true or not…
Both Kakashi and Naruto had already agreed to go along with it.
As the Kazekage, Gaara had no grounds to question it.
Not that Kakashi or Naruto were entirely certain either — but with matters having reached this point, they had no other choice.
If Aoi truly was Hashirama, there might still be a chance to save Sasuke.
Word of the rescheduled summit was quickly sent to all five Kage.
The person calling the meeting made no attempt to hide his identity — he used the name Senju Hashirama openly.
"Senju Hashirama?"
Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage, looked utterly perplexed.
Even when he was just a boy, the names of Hashirama and Madara had already been legendary across the ninja world.
"What is going on? Are all these old monsters climbing out of their graves?"
Ōnoki grumbled, feeling his age.
Maybe I should just lie down and die first, otherwise this old back of mine won't be able to keep up…
"Say that again?"
Danzō's face turned cold and grim as he stared sharply at Kankurō, who had brought the message.
"You had better choose your words carefully — Senju Hashirama was my teacher!"
Kankurō did not back down either. He smiled coldly and shook his head.
"This was confirmed by Kakashi himself, a jōnin of your own village. Whether it is true or not, it is a matter for Konoha to resolve…"
"......"
After a long silence, Danzō nodded slowly. "I understand. I will return."
Senju Hashirama?
If this news was real, his time as Hokage would come to an immediate end.
Compared to Hashirama, his own authority and reputation were practically non‑existent.
The feudal lords would strip him of his position the moment they confirmed it.
For that reason — whether the claim was true or not — it now threatened his hold on power, and he could not let it go unchallenged.
"Whoever is behind this deception will regret ever having tried it," Danzō said, clenching his fist with a malicious grin as he turned and headed toward the Land of Iron.
Because of this, Obito — who had been planning to ambush and kill Danzō while bringing Sasuke along — once again found his target gone.
Without even trying, Aoi had once again steered the story onto a new and unexpected path, all within the bounds of what could still be explained.

Soon, all the Kage were on their way back.
Even the Raikage, who had been out searching for his brother, turned back immediately — bringing Killer Bee with him.
The reason was simple: the name of Senju Hashirama carried too much weight.
If Uchiha Madara was the devil who defied all law and order, then Senju Hashirama was the only heavenly being strong enough to defeat him.
Back around the familiar round table of the summit:
Danzō, the Hokage; Terumi Mei, the Mizukage; Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage; Gaara, the Kazekage; and A, the Fourth Raikage — each wore a very different expression.
The Mizukage seemed completely unbothered.
She belonged to a later generation and had never even met Hashirama, so the name of that old figure meant little to her.
But then, her attention was suddenly drawn to something else…
A small, adorable boy who looked as if he had stepped straight out of a fairy tale.
His face was delicate and fair, and his large, dark eyes twinkled like polished gems.
"Be careful — a child appearing here is no ordinary coincidence," warned Ao, her bodyguard, staying on high alert.
"Ao, don't be so jumpy!" Mei rolled her eyes, then reached out and lifted the boy into her arms.
"Such a sweet little thing — he must belong to one of the guards posted nearby."
