The large needle plunged into Guren's neck. Aoi's face was expressionless as he drew out her blood — blood that glowed like a brilliant pink gemstone.
The moment the Kekkei Genkai was extracted from her body, Guren collapsed. Aoi could clearly feel her life force fading away rapidly...
As her Kekkei Genkai vanished, the crimson crystal flower that surrounded her crumbled into pieces.
Seeing this, Yukimaru — among the Konoha ninja nearby — stared in terror, his eyes wide with shock. "Sister Guren!"

Before Deidara could even get a chance to blow up the "turtle," Naruto roared and leaped out of the lake.
He formed a Rasengan in his hand and charged straight at Tobi. "What did you monsters do to Sister Guren?!"
"Ara ara!"
Tobi dodged the Rasengan with an exaggerated flourish, waving his hands innocently. "Guren? Tobi hasn't done anything bad! Go ask senpai!"
"Senpai?"
Naruto turned around to see Deidara sitting on his white bird, looking thoroughly exasperated. "Tobi, you little brat... how dare you sell me out like this..."
"Deidara!"
Naruto's teeth ground together. There was no love lost between them — Deidara was the one who had killed Gaara and forced Chiyo-baa-chan to sacrifice her life to bring him back.
"I missed you last time, but this time I'm going to take you down!" Naruto roared, forming hand seals as nearly a hundred shadow clones materialized around him.
"Tsk tsk... having so much chakra really makes you arrogant." Aoi muttered to himself. That fox cheat... just the infinite chakra alone is enough to make anyone jealous.
"Guren?"
Deidara frowned. "I have no idea what you're talking about. But you think you can take me down? You're eight hundred years too early, you annoying brat!"
"Explosive Clay — Twin-Winged Bird!"
A massive bird with two wings roared toward Naruto. Ordinary shadow clones didn't even require an explosion — the bird's wings alone scattered them into nothingness.
"Pin him down!"
A horde of Narutos swarmed the bird together, their Rasengans striking its back one after another like blooming flowers.
But just then, Deidara grinned widely. "Experience the beauty of art, brat! Katsu~!"
