A minute later, Tobi and Deidara stood at the spot where Aoi had been, scratching their heads in confusion.
"Did that commotion just now come from that kid?"
Deidara nodded slowly, a look of uncertainty on his face. "That brat... he's terrifying..."
"Huh? Senpai, are you scared?" Tobi waved his arms around dramatically.
"But I believe in you! Your explosions are the ultimate art, number one in the world!"
Hearing this, Deidara puffed out his chest with confidence. "Of course they are. Art is an explosion! Power like that... it's nothing but crude trash!"
After a moment of silence, both of them looked at the devastated landscape stretching out before them and spoke in unison: "But seriously... kids these days are absolutely terrifying..."
Meanwhile, the main storyline had reached its critical turning point.
Out on the lake where the Three-Tails lived, the Konoha Sealing Team was working frantically to bind the beast. Guren, Gozu, and their group were doing everything in their power to stop them...
"Crystal Release: Crystal Dragon Descends!"
The water of the lake solidified into a massive dragon of crystal, charging straight toward Ino and the others.
Despite the desperate efforts of Lee and Tenten to block it, the sealing formation was shattered.
"ROAR!!!"
Repeated attempts to seal it had enraged the beast completely.
With a thunderous bellow, it burst from the surface and unleashed a terrifying Tailed Beast Ball — a blast powerful enough to obliterate everything in its path.
Just as the story dictated, Guren, drained of all her strength, collapsed on a cliffside.
To protect her, Yukimaru willed his own chakra into action and took control of the Three-Tails.
What followed was predictable: Naruto and Guren were both swallowed by the beast.
After a series of events inside its belly, they set aside their differences and became allies.
"Truly, this is classic Naruto behavior..." Aoi sighed, leaning casually against the lakeshore while watching the plot unfold exactly as it should.
Actually, there was one thing Aoi had always wondered about...

It was honestly baffling...
But none of that mattered now. The story had reached its climax. Naruto pulled the mask off Rin's face, revealing Kabuto underneath.
And then, Naruto engaged Kabuto in battle...
"Living Corpse Reanimation!"
Kabuto truly was a prodigy who had learned well from his time with Aoi. He cast the forbidden revival technique with ease, summoning Rin's spirit to attack Guren.
"Bat Sound — Ultrasonic Wave!"
Through Rin, the lesson was explained simply yet profoundly: Crystal Release is formed from countless polyhedral structures.
If you use Sound Release to vibrate them, Crystal Release becomes completely fragile and useless!
Characters in this world were sometimes quite miraculous. Their society was essentially stuck in the agricultural age, yet they understood biological and physical principles perfectly.

"Don't worry... I won't die!"
The moment she spoke those words, Guren used Crystal Release to encase herself and Rin's spirit, plunging together into the deep waters of the lake.
"GUREN!"
Naruto and Yukimaru cried out in grief and despair. But who would have guessed... Guren hadn't died at all.
Aoi sat by the shore, watching quietly as Gozu — who had seemingly vanished early on — emerged from the mud and dragged the heavily injured Guren safely up from the lakebed.
Gozu, who had disappeared shortly after the mission began, had returned at the most crucial moment to stand up for the woman he loved so deeply.
Who could ever explain how someone could fall in love just because of a single ladle of cold water...
