"What a weak-minded fool!"
Entering the Divine Grace Compound, Aoi Ren took the latest report with a cold expression.
Of course he knew exactly what Hanzō wanted to say — nothing more than that nonsense about stopping the bestowal of power!
To be honest, fifty thousand Serpent-Cursed Soldiers were already more than enough to drive out the Allied Forces.
He could have even intentionally opened a gap half a day ago and let the three Kage escape, just to complete the mission, collect his rewards, and return to his original world.
But after seeing them in actual combat, Aoi Ren suddenly realized something: if fifty thousand could defeat thousands of elite shinobi led by the Kage, then given five hundred thousand, wouldn't he be able to conquer the entire ninja world?
Of course, the Land of Rain was just a small nation. Even if he rounded up every single person living here, he could never gather five hundred thousand soldiers.
However, he could absolutely use the Land of Rain as a breakthrough point.
From here, he could spread his influence to common people across the entire world of Naruto and acquire countless more Serpent-Cursed Soldiers!
To achieve total unification, all kinds of experiments were necessary. And as for where to test them... was there a better testing ground than this storyline world?
---
Mission Activated: Unification of the Storyline World
Mission Objective: Achieve total unification of this storyline world. Become the architect of ultimate peace in the Naruto world and its sole, absolute Ruler.
Mission Reward: Epic Attribute Title: False Emperor. 1,000,000 Points.
Time Limit: 30 Storyline Cycles.
---
The generous time limit of thirty full cycles told Aoi Ren exactly how difficult this task was — it was nearly impossible to succeed in a single attempt.
Yet, even so, he had no intention of letting this opportunity slip away...
"Accelerate the process!" Aoi Ren roared at the Amegakure ninja managing the compound, his eyes cold and sharp.
"I want this facility running twenty-four hours a day, non-stop!"
"But... when do we stop?"
"Stop?" Aoi Ren sneered, narrowing his eyes.
"We stop when every single person in this nation has become a Serpent-Cursed Soldier!"
---
Pale blue chakra guided a small paper crane high into the air.
It resisted the heavy rain, flew over dense forests and tall mountains, and finally came to rest right in front of Jiraiya and Tsunade.
They both reached for it at the same time. After reading the message, their faces paled instantly...
"I have no choice. We'll look for Aoi Ren later!" Tsunade sighed, abandoning her search notice. She equipped her gear and rushed straight out of the town.
"Boys, I'll be away for a while. Train hard while I'm gone."
Without even looking back, Jiraiya bid farewell to Nagato and his friends. He leaped onto the head of the Great Toad and sped rapidly toward Amegakure.
Once they had left, only the paper crane remained, circling endlessly above the swamp where Orochimaru had met his end.
Far away, Hiruzen Sarutobi slowly unclasped his hands, ending the technique, his face filled with shock...
"Orochimaru... is actually dead?" Hiruzen felt a deep sorrow. Orochimaru had been his most gifted student, yet he had died just like that.
But given Orochimaru's immense power... who on earth could have killed him?
"Aoi Ren!"
Hanzō burst into the Divine Grace Compound, his eyes bloodshot and burning with rage. He slammed his fists against the iron gate.
"You owe me an explanation today! Why haven't you stopped yet?!"
Seeing Hanzō in such a frenzy, Aoi Ren shook his head with a knowing smirk. "Do you really think... that I can still stop this even if I wanted to?"
"What do you mean?" Hanzō's eyes widened in confusion and alarm.
"Open the gate. Go outside to the shrine and see for yourself." Aoi Ren laughed softly, full of disdain.
"Go tell them that you've decided to end the Divine Grace. Then see how they react to you!"
THUD!
At those words, Hanzō's legs gave way and he collapsed heavily to the floor. He didn't even need to go out to know exactly what would happen...
If he dared to stop the ceremony...
Those fanatical believers would scream that he was a false god, and tear him to pieces on the spot!
"Is there... truly no way to stop it?" Hanzō stared coldly at Aoi Ren, while a dark, wicked thought slowly took root in his heart.
No. Wait... there IS a way!
As long as Aoi Ren dies... all of this will end!
