Seeing both of them opposing him, Orochimaru didn't get angry. He simply narrowed his eyes and said calmly, "Fine then. What do you plan to do? The main forces of Amegakure arrive tomorrow."
"The main force of Amegakure?" Aoi Ren thought to himself while lying in Tsunade's embrace. Could it be him? The figure standing at the very peak of the ninja world—Hanzō of the Salamander?
Hearing this, Tsunade frowned deeply. "I'm well aware. But if I send him back to the rear camp, he should survive."
"Hmph..."
Orochimaru scoffed in contempt. "You can save him for one day. But only for that one day."
Tsunade's expression turned grim, yet she refused to give up on saving him. She carried Aoi Ren all the way back to her tent. As a warm fire was lit, Aoi Ren slowly opened his eyes at just the right moment.
Staring with big, innocent eyes, he asked innocently like a little kitten, "Big sister... do you know where Mommy and Daddy went? I miss them so much..."
Those heart-wrenching words, combined with the boosted charm from his "moe" attribute, struck Tsunade right in the softest part of her heart. This poor child...
"Mommy and Daddy went to a faraway place. From now on, you'll stay right here with big sister."
