On a night adorned with gold and false laughter,
the kings of corruption gathered beneath one roof,
celebrating, dancing, and drinking over the corpses of the innocent without a trace of guilt.
But they did not know…
that the music to be played that night
was not meant for entertainment… but for farewell.
And within the heart of the palace,
justice wore a mask…
waiting for the perfect moment to begin the massacre.
Chapter 13: Symphony of Slaughter
On an ordinary day, like every day the sun rose over the kingdom of Lealis, a land consumed by corruption…
No one knew what this day held for them.
For this day was the queen's birthday,
and the king had prepared a grand feast, inviting the king of Noraf as well.
All the heads of corruption gathered under one roof.
Elsewhere, Alveran and Alindra were preparing to attend the celebration.
They disguised themselves and blended among the nobles without raising suspicion.
The nobles began to arrive…
And as night fell, the sounds of celebration rose within the royal hall—
laughter, music, raised glasses…
a false world floating above a sea of blood.
Among the musicians… was Alveran.
She stepped onto the stage with calm steps… yet they carried an ominous warning.
Within herself, she whispered:
(A land soaked in the scent of blood… a fitting grave for you all.)
She sat before the piano…
and placed her hands upon it, beginning the Symphony of Annihilation.
(She places her trembling fingers on the keys… soft, sorrowful notes begin, her eyes closed as if in a trance)
In the veins of this palace flows your poison
And upon ivory cups, your sin floats
You thought the walls were deaf and unaware
But the echoes of the victims' screams… resound within me
(She suddenly opens her eyes; a cold gaze pierces the audience… she strikes a deep, heavy note that shakes the hall)
Dance… laugh… in the night of illusion
Above the corpses of those slain… by silent blades
I am the performer who has seen… beyond the curtain
I am the melody that will burn… this entire domain
(Her fingers begin to move at a frantic pace, left and right, as if chasing souls across the hall)
Treachery in gold… ugliness in faces
Thrones of bones… lost in endless mazes
I will play until the strings bleed
I will sing until the crowd… becomes nothing
(Her voice rises powerfully, the piano drowning every whisper in the hall)
Listen… the heartbeat of death approaches!
Look… how the light of dawn withdraws!
Tonight… red shall wash away all darkness
Tonight… your glory shall turn to ash
(She rises slightly from her seat, striking the keys with the full weight of her body, her cloak swirling violently)
A string's scream… a dagger's strike
Every note… a shattering chain
They sold the land for a piece of silver
And now the reckoning… in a fleeting moment
No escape… no prayers… no promises
For you have broken… every oath
My symphony is the judge… and the executioner
I am the end… the voice of annihilation and mourning
(The music suddenly slows… returning to a terrifying calm, she whispers the final words while staring directly at the king—the head of corruption)
The melody ends… and the blade begins
Between us… lies a tale to conclude
Now… raise the curtain…
And let the massacre… choose its course
(She stops abruptly… lifts her hands from the piano in absolute silence, and looks toward the doors as the screams of the guards begin outside)
Alveran stood with pride and said:
Today… is the day of your annihilation.
At that moment, Alindra sealed the palace doors.
Panic erupted within the hall—
screams, pleas, trembling…
everyone begging for mercy and forgiveness…
but from the wrong person.
With cold indifference, Alveran said:
(O heads of misery… bow and submit, and before the Queen of Souls, kneel.)
Black petals began to scatter across the hall,
and with every step she took… souls were drawn out,
her blade striking before the end could even be realized.
Blood flowed everywhere…
her black cloak turned crimson…
the white palace became red.
Alindra witnessed horrific scenes…
yet no voice rose above the voice of justice.
Until everything ended.
Alveran advanced toward the heads of corruption…
the king and his court.
They offered her wealth… power… survival…
but she removed her mask,
and her eyes burned with the flames of hell.
She said:
Hell… longs for you.
The petals rose…
absorbing all souls…
except the king.
He trembled like a terrified rat.
Alveran dragged him outside the palace…
where people from all districts gathered—
the poor… and the rich…
all witnessing the end.
Alveran said:
(This is the fate of all who walk the path of corruption.)
She raised her sword…
and before his head fell, she said:
(The wound is painful.)
And the head of corruption fell.
The sun rose upon that moment…
a moment awaited by a people who had long suffered under the king's tyranny.
Cheers erupted…
Alveran's name echoed everywhere.
Alindra stood beside her…
But suddenly—
Alveran collapsed to the ground.
Alindra rushed and caught her.
Alveran looked at her and said:
Alindra… I can't feel my body… I can't see your face.
Alindra reassured her,
and took her to bed…
so she could rest for a while…
And thus… a new era began
And so… the thrones fell,
and the hall was cleansed with the blood of those who believed themselves eternal.
Yet amid the cheers and victory,
a body collapsed in silence…
a heroine who paid the price of justice with her very soul and existence.
This was not the end of corruption…
but the beginning of a darker chapter.
For the blood spilled on this night…
will never be forgotten.
