That's right. Regigigas was inside this Cherish Ball.
Regigigas was so huge. If he let it walk all the way to the Tree of Beginning in the Kanto region, how long would it take?

Even though Regigigas had not agreed to become Damian's Pokémon, being inside the ball meant the job was basically done in a way.
Damian looked at the scarred earth. He shook his head and signaled Reshiram to leave.
A long, clear dragon roar echoed. Reshiram landed in front of Caitlin and Cynthia.
"It's settled."
Damian held the small, cleaned wooden box and smiled at the two women.
"Thank you." Cynthia felt relieved.
"Damian, what is this?"
Caitlin looked at the wooden box in Damian's hand with curiosity.
"It's a very precious treasure from a certain space dragon. I don't know why it was in Regigigas's hands. Since it's moving house, it gave it to me."
Damian spoke with a smile. This was a complete, unexpected surprise.
Inside the box was the Lustrous Globe, a key treasure tied to the space dragon, Palkia!
The Pokémon of myth each had two kinds of treasures: Orbs and Globes.
For Palkia, they were the Lustrous Orb and the Lustrous Globe.
The Lustrous Orb can be seen as having an effect similar to the Rainbow Wing or Silver Wing. In Pokémon Platinum, the Lustrous Orb is required to encounter Palkia at Spear Pillar.
In the games, if Palkia holds the Lustrous Orb, it boosts the power of Palkia's Dragon- and Water-type moves by twenty percent.
It can be called a unique treasure just for Palkia.
But the Lustrous Globe is even more important!
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, the Lustrous Globe allows Palkia to change between its normal form and its Origin Forme.
This is the most critical part. As everyone knows, the Origin Forme is Palkia's true form. Only in this form can Palkia use its real power.
It is almost the same as Primal Reversion for Groudon and Kyogre.
It is worth mentioning that in the games, Palkia and Dialga's Origin Formes keep the same base stat total, but their stat distribution changes.
