Chapter 215 - Chapter 215

The Fallingstar Beast Jaw shattered, and the Nebula skill contained within it merged with the Dark Moon Greatsword.

Niđhöggr had slain the Fallingstar Beast. He turned his head to look at the battlefield on the other side of the Wailing Dunes, and his keen senses quickly realized something was wrong.

On that battlefield, there was no trace of Radahn.

A piercing roar came from high above!

He looked up and saw a blazing meteor, as massive as the Fallingstar Beast, plummeting diagonally towards the Wailing Dunes. He vaguely recognized the fiery figure within as Radahn.

Boom——

Radahn crashed to the earth, shaking the sky with fire and raging sand. The shockwave spread all the way to Niđhöggr, still carrying residual force.

Niđhöggr stood motionless, gazing ahead.

The Starscourge General rose from the flames, raised his two Starscourge Greatswords, shook off the sparks into the sky, and roared at the heavens, exuding absolute dominance.

Several flickers of spirit light returned to Niđhöggr's Spirit Calling Bell. He glanced at it and understood that Engvall, Oleg, and Lhutel had been destroyed by Radahn's crashing descent.

The Mimic Tear was still alive, but he didn't know what had happened to Niall and Jerren.

Niđhöggr drank a flask of Crimson and Cerulean Tears, then spread the flames of the Hundredfold Scar, transforming into a golden light as he flew towards the Dune battlefield where Radahn was.

From a bird's-eye view, he observed his Mimic Tear quickly emerge from the sandy burial, then dutifully raise the Dark Moon Greatsword and charge at Radahn, swinging one wave of moonlight after another towards him.

Radahn danced with his blades, cleaving with ease, easily destroying the moonlight waves. He then condensed several meteorites and smashed them towards the Mimic Tear, which dodged with a coming-and-going posture.

Niđhöggr knew the Mimic Tear wouldn't last long.

He looked closer and saw Niall and Jerren lying fallen beneath the red sand dunes. Both veterans were still alive, but all were covered in blood, and it seemed both were seriously injured.

As he flew over the heads of the two veterans, Niđhöggr called out, "Leave him to me. Fall back and don't interfere!"

Only then did Niall and Jerren notice Niđhöggr flying overhead.

They looked back towards where the Fallingstar Beast had been and saw the giant, its skull gone, collapsed in the sand dunes, apparently slain by Niđhöggr's hand.

Both were astonished, but also happy and ashamed.

Fortunately, they could no longer withstand Lord Radahn's assault, and Niđhöggr was able to take command.

It was also a pity that Niđhöggr had slain two monsters in a row, and they had tried their best, but holding back Lord Radahn had proven quite difficult.

Fortunately, this had bought time for Niđhöggr's arrival, but they didn't know how much strength he had left to fight Lord Radahn.

At this moment, it was naturally impossible for the two veterans to ask Niđhöggr to spare Lord Radahn's life as much as possible.

That fact was too difficult to accept. Even they were mentally prepared to kill Lord Radahn. If the Starscourge General could peacefully find rest at the hands of a figure like Niđhöggr, they believed Lord Radahn himself would be content.

However, did Niđhöggr still have the combat power left to lay Lord Radahn to rest?

The two veterans' hearts were full of doubt.

Niđhöggr didn't dwell on it too much. He flew towards Radahn.

The Mimic Tear, which had been standing on the ground, also spread the flames of the Hundredfold Scar and soared into the air, forming a pincer angle with Niđhöggr as they attacked Radahn together.

Radahn was confused. Seeing two nearly identical knights flying towards him, he was stunned for a moment, then stopped thinking, leaped into the sky, and chose the simplest solution.

Cracks suddenly appeared in the grey sky. The fissures opened, and meteorites rained down from them, transforming into a vast meteor shower crashing down upon Niđhöggr and the Mimic Tear.

Niđhöggr and the Mimic Tear darted through the dense meteor rain, swift as lightning.

But the Mimic Tear was a replica, lacking the agility of the original body. The next moment, it was struck by a meteorite and fell to the ground.

Boom, boom, boom—

The terrifying meteor shower continued to devastate the Wailing Dunes, quickly forming numerous craters. After a period of bombardment, it gradually subsided.

The Mimic Tear was destroyed, its spirit light returning to Niđhöggr's Spirit Calling Bell, but its function had already been fulfilled.

Niđhöggr passed through the meteor shower unscathed. As the rain ceased, a golden light flashed within the rising scarlet sand and suddenly shot straight towards Radahn.

Seeing that one of the Niđhöggrs had been killed by the meteor shower while the other remained unharmed, Radahn pulled out his two Starscourge Greatswords and slashed at Niđhöggr in the air.

Niđhöggr also held the Dark Moon Greatsword high and cleaved down at Radahn.

Instantly, their sword strikes transformed into arcs of light. Each time the three greatswords clashed, they shook the storm and emitted a piercing sound!

As a result, the sky dome grew even darker, and numerous spatial cracks appeared, caused by their intense battle.

However, during the continuous sword fight, deep, bloody wounds kept appearing on Radahn's body, while Niđhöggr remained uninjured, showing a tendency to suppress Radahn.

This was indeed the case. Radahn truly felt it was difficult to withstand the force of Niđhöggr's sword strikes.

Niđhöggr had slain the Ancestral Spirit and the Fallingstar Beast one after another, and the level-up bonuses were too high.

Niall helped the seriously injured Jerren to his feet, and both watched the scene in horror, shocked and silent for a long time.

Lord Radahn was clearly in a state of frenzy, yet Niđhöggr could fight such a Lord Radahn and even hold the advantage. It was truly unbelievable.

At that moment, a figure quietly passed by them, immediately drawing the attention of the two.

They turned their heads and were surprised to find that it was actually Sellen, the "Heretic Witch" who had previously claimed she was leaving.

Initially, Sellen had quietly followed them, observing the battle, simply waiting for the moment Niđhöggr was seriously wounded by Radahn to appear and capture him.

Unexpectedly, instead of that moment arriving, she witnessed Niđhöggr defeat the Ancestral Spirit and then the Fallingstar Beast. As someone knowledgeable and well-informed, she was astonished.

By this point, Sellen could even see that Niđhöggr still had the strength to fight Radahn, and that defeating him might indeed be possible.

Her thoughts changed drastically.

Now was the perfect time to help!

In doing so, the promises Niđhöggr had made could be fulfilled, and she might even gain greater freedom in her magical academic research!

Sellen quickly made her decision, dispelled her concealment magic, and suddenly appeared.

She raised her glintstone staff and pointed it at Radahn, unleashing several spiral-shaped, flying glintstone pebbles that shrieked through the air and struck Radahn's right leg.

Taken by surprise by Sellen's attack from behind, Radahn stumbled forward, and Niđhöggr seized the momentary opening—he slashed a moonlit wave that struck Radahn's other leg.

Bam——

Radahn's enormous body lost its balance and pitched forward onto the red sand dunes, shaking up waves of dust!
