Chapter 80 – A Morning of Training with Lucky and the Fans

The 2017 Golden Globe Awards was an unforgettable night, full of encounters, emotional speeches, and celebrations. But after hours of the event and a quick stop at the after-party, Jacob Stewart returned to his Los Angeles home exhausted.

When he entered his mansion, it was already past 3 a.m. Lucky, his faithful Labrador, was waiting for him at the door, wagging his tail excitedly.

— JACOB (smiling, crouching down to pet the dog): "Hey, buddy! Did you miss me?"

Lucky responded with an excited bark and jumped on Jacob, almost knocking off his impeccable suit.

— JACOB (laughing): "Okay, okay, I missed you too!"

After taking off his suit and leaving it in the closet, Jacob went straight to the bathroom, where he took a hot and relaxing shower. He felt exhaustion dominating his body, but he already knew that the next day he wouldn't be idle.

As soon as he threw himself onto the bed, Lucky lay down beside him, falling asleep quickly. Jacob closed his eyes and drifted off.

The alarm clock rang at 6:30 am, but Jacob was already used to waking up early. He slowly opened his eyes, stretched, and looked at Lucky, who was still sleeping.

— JACOB: "Time to wake up, sleepyhead."

The dog perked up his ears and immediately jumped out of bed, ready for anything.

Jacob put on black athletic shorts, a gray dry-fit t-shirt, and a pair of running shoes. He grabbed his water bottle, a cap, and headed out the front door. Lucky accompanied him, always excited for morning workouts.

Their destination was the beach, about 4 km away. Jacob chose to run alongside Lucky, maintaining a strong pace.

The sun was beginning to appear on the horizon when Jacob arrived at Santa Monica beach. The weather was perfect, with a light breeze and the ideal temperature for a good workout.

While running, he noticed that some people were starting to recognize him. He didn't care about fame during his workouts, but fans always got excited seeing him there.

Two young men running in the same direction noticed him and slowed down to talk to him.

— FAN 1 (panting): "Wow… is that really you? Jacob Stewart?"

Jacob smiled and kept running.

— JACOB: "Depends… If I say no, will you believe me?"

The two laughed, impressed to see the movie star there, training like anyone else.

— FAN 2: "Man, you're an inspiration! My brother and I have watched The Revenant about ten times!"

Jacob laughed.

— JACOB: "You guys like to see me suffer, huh?"

The young men laughed even more.

— FAN 1: "Do you always train around here?"

— JACOB: "Whenever I can. Staying in shape is essential."

While they were talking, other runners recognized Jacob and joined the group, some asking for selfies and others just running alongside him. He didn't mind; he enjoyed the interaction.

Soon, a small group of fans was accompanying Jacob on his run along the beach.

After completing about 8 km of running, Jacob did a quick stretch, drank some water, and looked at the sea. The waves were calm, the crystal-clear water reflected the morning light.

He took off his shirt, revealing his defined and athletic physique, the result of intense training in fighting, shooting, and weightlifting. Some of the fans who were still nearby watched him, curious about what he would do next.

— JACOB: "Now it's time for a swim. Anyone up for it?"

Two of the fans looked at each other hesitantly.

— FAN 1: "How long do you swim?"

— JACOB: "Usually, a few kilometers. But you can go at your own pace."

He stretched a little more, took a deep breath, and then ran into the sea, diving in all at once. Lucky stayed on the sand, wagging his tail and barking excitedly.

The two fans mustered their courage and entered the water soon after, trying to keep up with Jacob.

Swimming was one of Jacob's favorite workouts, as it required endurance, focus, and breath control. He swam crawl, with firm and coordinated strokes, moving quickly through the water.

The fans tried to follow, but soon realized that Jacob's level was on another level.

— FAN 2 (panting): "Dude… how does he do that?"

Jacob paused for a moment, looked back, and shouted:

— JACOB: "Take a deep breath and keep a steady pace!"

He continued swimming, covering about 3 km in the sea before returning to the sand. When he got out of the water, Lucky ran to him, jumping excitedly. — JACOB (laughing): "Good boy!"

The fans left the water soon after, completely exhausted.

— FAN 1: "Jacob… you… are a monster!"

— FAN 2: "Now I understand why you make action movies… you're really a real-life John Wick!"

Jacob laughed and patted them both on the shoulder.

— JACOB: "Hard training, easy victory. You guys did great!"

After the training, Jacob sat on the sand to rest a bit. Other fans who were there approached to chat, take pictures, and even ask questions.

One of them took out his cell phone and started recording a short video.

— FAN: "Guys, look who's here training with us on the beach!"

Jacob looked at the camera and smiled.

— JACOB: "Good morning, everyone! This is Jacob Stewart. Nothing like starting the day with a run and a swim in the sea!"

The video quickly began circulating on social media, and the comments exploded.

— "Jacob really trains like an elite athlete!"

— "This guy is insane! Running 8 km and then swimming 3 km?!"

— "Definitely John Wick in real life!"

Jacob, however, simply enjoyed that moment of tranquility with Lucky and the fans. For him, this interaction was one of the best parts of his journey.

After all, being a Hollywood star didn't mean being distant from people – he was still a normal guy who loved to train, challenge himself, and inspire others.

And that was just another ordinary day in the extraordinary life of Jacob Stewart.

Chapter 81 – The Patek Philippe Nautilus Rose Gold

The sun shone brightly in Los Angeles that morning, reflecting off the hot asphalt as Jacob Stewart drove his Aston Martin DBS Superleggera through the busy streets. After the previous day's intense training, he decided to treat himself to something special – a new watch.

And it wouldn't be just any watch.

His destination? The Patek Philippe boutique in the luxury Beverly Center shopping mall.

Parking at the mall's valet parking, Jacob stepped out of the car and adjusted the gray blazer he wore over a tight-fitting black t-shirt. His black leather Chelsea boots clicked firmly against the polished mall floor as he confidently walked into the watch shop.

As soon as he entered the Patek Philippe boutique, the atmosphere exuded sophistication. The glass display cases showcased rare models, each with its own history and legacy.

A young sales assistant, dressed in an elegant uniform and with an impeccable smile, quickly approached.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE (smiling): "Good morning, sir. Welcome to Patek Philippe! How can I help you today?"

Jacob looked around for a moment, appreciating the impeccable layout of the store, before replying in his firm, calm voice.

— JACOB: "Good morning. I was thinking of a Patek Philippe Nautilus Rose Gold."

The sales representative's eyes sparkled for a moment.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "An excellent choice, sir! The Nautilus Rose Gold is one of our most iconic models. An elegant, sophisticated watch and, of course, an investment piece."

She gestured for him to follow her to a more private counter, where highly exclusive models were displayed.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "Have you owned a Nautilus before?"

Jacob smiled slightly.

— JACOB: "I've owned a few Patek models, but never a Nautilus in rose gold."

The sales assistant nodded and went to a discreet safe on the side of the store. After entering a security code, she retrieved a blue velvet box and placed it on the marble counter.

She carefully opened the box, revealing the stunning Patek Philippe Nautilus Rose Gold.

The gleam of the 18k rose gold contrasted perfectly with the brown gradient dial, and the detailed finish of the metal bracelet made it clear that this was a true icon of Swiss watchmaking.

— SALES ASSISTANTS: "Here you are, Mr. Stewart. The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1R-001. One of the most coveted models in the collection."

Jacob took the watch delicately, feeling the luxurious weight of the precious metal in his hands. He turned the watch over, admiring the mechanical movement visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

— JACOB: "Truly impressive. The attention to detail is astounding."

The sales assistant smiled.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "The Nautilus Rose Gold is a watch that conveys power and sophistication. It's a piece that not only complements any look, but also carries the tradition of excellence of Patek Philippe."

Jacob nodded, trying the watch on his wrist. He adjusted the strap and observed the reflection of the metal under the ambient light of the store.

— JACOB: "It fits perfectly."

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "It definitely suits you. And I can say that, currently, this model is sold out in most boutiques. Having one available here today was pure luck."

Jacob looked at the sales representative with a wry smile.

— JACOB: "Luck? Or destiny?"

She laughed politely.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "Perhaps a little of both."

After a few minutes adjusting the strap and testing the watch in the boutique mirror, Jacob turned to the sales representative.

— JACOB: "I'll take it."

The attendant nodded and began the payment process.

— ATTENDANT: "Perfect, Mr. Stewart. How would you like to pay?"

— JACOB: "Card."

She quickly brought the payment machine, and Jacob inserted his unlimited black card, completing the purchase without even looking at the amount.

— ATTENDANT: "Congratulations, Mr. Stewart! You have just acquired one of the most coveted pieces in the world of watchmaking."

She took an elegant black box, lined with velvet on the inside, and carefully placed the Patek Philippe Nautilus Rose Gold inside.

After completing all the paperwork for the watch's warranty and certification, the attendant handed the package to Jacob.

— ATTENDANT: "If you need any adjustments or maintenance in the future, we will be at your service."

Jacob smiled and shook the attendant's hand.

— JACOB: "Thank you for the excellent service."

She smiled back.

— SALES REPRESENTATIVE: "It's always a pleasure to serve special clients like you. I hope to see you again soon."

Jacob picked up the box with his new watch and left the boutique with firm steps.

As soon as he left the boutique, some people in the mall recognized him and began whispering amongst themselves.

A group of young people approached hesitantly.

— FAN 1: "Hey… sorry to bother you… but are you Jacob Stewart?"

Jacob stopped and smiled at them.

— JACOB: "Yes, it's me."

The fans were ecstatic.

— FAN 2: "Dude, we're your biggest fans! Can we take a picture?"

Jacob nodded.

— JACOB: "Sure, come here."

He took some photos with the group, exchanged a few words, and thanked them for their affection.

Before leaving, one of the young men pointed to the black and gold Patek Philippe bag.

— FAN 1: "Buying another luxury watch?"

Jacob laughed and held up the bag.

— JACOB: "Yes, a Nautilus Rose Gold. You have to treat yourself once in a while, right?"

The fans laughed and complimented him on his good taste.

After a few more goodbyes, Jacob headed to the valet, where his Aston Martin was already waiting for him.

On the way back, Jacob put on an instrumental jazz playlist, enjoying the smooth sound as he drove through the streets of Beverly Hills. He glanced quickly at the bag beside him and smiled.

Another legendary watch for his collection.

But, above all, a reminder that every achievement deserved to be celebrated.

And for Jacob Stewart, that was just another normal day living his best life.
