Keifer's Pov
I got up from my bed and went towards her and pulled her by her waist and locked my arms around her,
Keifer: "You left without my morning kiss"
She chuckles and give me a kiss,
Jay: "Good Morning, you looked tired so I didn't want to wake you up."
I smiled and pulled her more closer,
Keifer: "Do you feel like I am rushing you into moving in with me? I mean I totally understand if you want some more time, I don't want you to do something that you aren't fully ready for."
I meant every word I said because I don't ever want to put her in a situation she doesn't want to
She cupped my face before replying,
Jay: "Thanks for thinking about all this, but I am not moving in with you just because you asked, I am moving in because I want to live with you and I want create new memories, I want to make up for the times that we have lost, I want to wake up with you everyday and go to bed with you every single night. I just want a place you know, it's for the both of us, Our home."
I teared up when she said that and she gently wiped my tears and nodded her head in a no,
Jay: "No more tears, only happy memories here after."
Keifer: "It's happy tears"
Jay: "Still no"
I hugged her tightly and she did too and after a while she pulled away,
Jay: "But I do have something I have to tell you."
I don't know why I got scared a bit when she said that,
Keifer: "What is it?"
Then she pulled my hand and made me sit on the bed and setlled beside me,
Jay: "The thing is.." she hesitated a little bit,
So I gently put my hand on hers and pressed it for comfort,
Keifer: "What is it?"
She left out a breathe and finally said,
Jay: "I might not continue my work as an architect."
I was a little shocked by her revelation,
Keifer: "Why is it because we are a couple now?"
I know it's not right but I did not want her to leave me but I wasn't going to stop her if that's what she wanted.
Jay: "No, No, what I meant is I might stop working as an architect because I want to start my own dessert shop, I wanted to do something on my own like my Dad. And In these years baking gave me a different kind of comfort, So I decided to do this."
I smiled when she said that,
Keifer: "Jay, I am happy with whatever decisions you are making as long as it makes you happy, but I am going to miss you in the office and secretly looking at you."
Jay: "I knew it, That's why my cabin was suspiciously close to yours." She said and smacked my chest,
Keifer: "Hey, what you want me to do, when I have you in my building and make you sit elsewhere, No way I actually wanted you cabin inside mine, but that would be too much."
Jay: "Idiot" she said and laid in my chest.
I hugged her again,
Jay: "But anyway we still have time for that, I am still saving up for the shop and till then I am in your office."
Keifer: "Jay do you need any help? Or finance?"
Jay: "Thanks, but I want to do this on my own like my Dad."
Keifer: "Okay but if you need anything just tell me."
She nodded while being in the hug and I kissed her forehead.
Keifer: "Should we take a day off and finish packing?"
Jay: "No, we already took a week off, we will just do the packing whenever we have time, it might take 2 days but I think that's fine."
Keifer: "Whatever works for you."
Then she looked up from the hug and said,
Jay: "Keif, can we keep our relationship low-key in the office?"
Keifer: "Why?"
Jay: "Well, I don't want people to treat me differently just because I am CEO' s girlfriend"
I chuckled,
Jay: "What?"
Keifer: "Nothing, I just remembered our times during uni, how you used to brag about yourself being the potential CEO's girlfriend and now that you are you want to keep it low-key."
She locked her hands around my neck and said,
Jay: "Well like I said I am the ceo's girlfriend but I just don't want others to be jealous, you know."
I laughed and nodded my head and so did she,
Jay: "Okay enough, Now go and take bath, we are getting late."
She practically pushed me into the bathroom, and after taking bath we got ready and went to the office and The first thing I did is called David,
David: "Well you look in good mood."
Keifer: "I am Jay agreed to move in with me."
David: "That's great man."
Keifer: "Yeah but I need your help with 2 things."
David: "Sure what is it?"
Keifer: "I need the details of Jay's first job and her manager at that time."
David: "Okay and next?"
Keifer: "I need you make an appointment with my therapist and my doctor for my insomnia."
David: "Did you finally tell Jay about your insomnia?"
Keifer: "No"
David: "But why? You guys are moving in together, don't you think she will find out?"
Keifer: "She cannot find out, I will make sure of that, Please don't tell her about this, she shouldn't know."
David: "But Keifer.."
Keifer: "David please"
David: "Fine, I'll make an appointment."
