Chapter 206 - Chapter 206: Apocalypse — Death

Apocalypse finally unleashed his true power.

With a wave of psychic force, he blasted Cyclops, who had been attacking him from a distance, sending him flying across the battlefield.

At the same time, Apocalypse reached out with his immense telekinetic power and dragged Storm out of the sky, interrupting the lightning she had been summoning.

A surge of psychic energy followed.

Storm was thrown violently into the ruins of the shattered pyramid.

Apocalypse's combined telepathic and telekinetic abilities were overwhelming.

Against such power, Level Two and Level Three mutants like the X-Men simply could not resist.

Meanwhile, Magneto launched another attack.

Using the surrounding metal, he manipulated pieces of Iron Man armor fragments and other metallic debris, sending them flying toward Apocalypse like high-speed missiles.

This time, Apocalypse had no intention of taking the attack head-on.

His body vanished instantly.

In the next moment, he appeared behind Magneto.

Energy gathered in Apocalypse's right hand before erupting outward in a devastating blast aimed directly at Magneto.

Fortunately, Magneto's combat experience saved him.

He immediately manipulated nearby steel plates to form a defensive barrier.

At the same time, he used the metal beneath his feet to lift himself into the air.

A second later—

The energy blast struck Magneto's previous position.

The steel barrier melted, leaving behind a massive hole.

Apocalypse did not stop there.

He raised both hands.

The surrounding desert sand began swirling violently.

Within seconds, a massive sandstorm tornado formed, roaring toward Magneto and the others.

Magneto glanced at the teammates already lying injured on the ground.

He had no choice.

He formed a metallic shield dome around the group.

Without it, the violent tornado could easily tear them apart.

Although Wolverine had survived Apocalypse's earlier attack, his only real advantage was his regenerative healing factor.

In a battle on this scale, he could barely even approach Apocalypse.

Meanwhile, Cyclops and Storm recovered and moved beside Magneto, helping stabilize the defense.

Iceman raised his hands and created a massive ice wall, trying to weaken the sandstorm's impact.

The sky above the battlefield had already turned dark and oppressive, filled with sand and lightning.

BANG—!

BOOM—!

As Magneto and the others struggled to hold their ground, Apocalypse floated high above them.

He continued gathering more sand and debris, strengthening the storm.

Cyclops and Storm repeatedly attacked the swirling sand formations, attempting to relieve the pressure on Magneto and Iceman.

Back at the Xavier Institute, Charles Xavier witnessed the entire battle through Wolverine's perspective using telepathy.

His expression grew increasingly anxious.

He had already contacted Karl earlier.

But Karl still had not arrived.

Yet Charles could do nothing but wait.

BOOM—!

Suddenly—

A figure clad in golden armor, with six glowing gems embedded in the chest, appeared in the sky.

With a casual wave of his hand, the massive sandstorm created by Apocalypse instantly dispersed.

The one who arrived was Karl.

Magneto and the others finally breathed a sigh of relief when they saw him.

Apocalypse had nearly overwhelmed them in a very short time.

Moreover, they were fighting in a desert, not a city.

There was far less metal available for Magneto to control.

Otherwise, the battle would not have become so one-sided.

Karl raised his hand and drew a circular sigil in the air.

Blue sparks appeared.

Moments later—

A portal opened.

Raven stepped out.

Karl used his telekinesis to steady her in midair before giving her a simple instruction.

Transform into Apocalypse.

He wanted to see whether Raven could gain Apocalypse's abilities through her shapeshifting.

Raven quickly transformed into Apocalypse's appearance.

But after a moment, she shook her head.

"I only gained one ability," she said with slight disappointment.

"Nothing else."

Karl had hoped that Raven might replicate Apocalypse's full set of abilities through transformation.

Unfortunately—

That plan failed.

"It's alright," Karl said gently, touching Raven's shoulder.

"You can go back now."

Raven nodded and returned to her original form before stepping back through the portal.

Karl closed it.

Meanwhile, Apocalypse stared at Karl in confusion.

Even from a distance, he could feel it.

The man wearing the golden armor was extremely powerful.

BOOM—!

Karl gave him no time to speak.

In the blink of an eye, Karl flashed forward and punched Apocalypse directly in the head.

At the same moment, the power of the six Infinity Stones embedded in Karl's armor surged through the attack.

Apocalypse immediately sensed the terrifying energy approaching.

Without hesitation, he teleported away from his original position.

A massive explosion followed.

The ground where Apocalypse had been standing was reduced to a crater nearly one hundred meters wide.

Karl looked toward Apocalypse, who had reappeared some distance away.

Then he attacked again.

This time, Karl's psychic power locked onto Apocalypse's presence.

No matter where Apocalypse teleported—

Karl could still strike him.

Realizing this, Apocalypse unleashed his own abilities in retaliation.

BOOM—!

Their powers collided.

But the result was obvious.

Karl's power was overwhelmingly superior.

Apocalypse was struck directly.

Half of his body exploded.

Yet within moments—

His body regenerated completely.

At this point, Apocalypse had already begun considering retreat.

The pressure from Karl was immense.

Since his birth thousands of years ago, he had never faced an opponent this powerful.

But Karl had already sensed his intention.

And Karl had no intention of letting him escape.

At this moment, Apocalypse was only at the peak of the Sub-Skyfather level.

But after Karl donned the Gold Cloth enhanced with the six Infinity Stones, his strength had already reached the level of a pseudo single-universal powerhouse.

If Apocalypse managed to escape from him—

Karl would never hear the end of it.

"GRAAAAAAH!"

The moment Karl realized Apocalypse intended to flee, he activated the Mirror Dimension.

Both Karl and Apocalypse vanished from the sight of Magneto and the others.

Karl had no interest in chasing Apocalypse around the world.

Inside the Mirror Dimension—

No matter how Apocalypse teleported, he could not escape.

BANG—!

A beam of multicolored cosmic energy pierced directly through Apocalypse's chest.

The impact blasted him to the edge of the mirror space.

He desperately tried teleporting again.

But it was useless.

The Mirror Dimension was completely sealed.

His wounds quickly regenerated.

Apocalypse possessed countless abilities.

Flight.

Teleportation.

Matter manipulation.

Energy shields.

Telekinesis.

Sand control.

And many more.

But most of them were poorly refined, lacking true mastery.

BOOM—!

This time, Karl did not immediately kill him.

He wanted to keep Apocalypse's body intact.

Samuel could later study it and perhaps develop a serum capable of enhancing Raven's abilities.

At the same time, Karl activated the Mind Stone and Soul Stone, launching a devastating psychic assault.

Although Apocalypse possessed powerful mental defenses—

He was completely helpless against the combined power of Karl and the two Infinity Stones.

Karl's consciousness shattered Apocalypse's mental defenses and took control of his body.

PRICK—!

Karl crushed Apocalypse's heart.

He immediately froze it with his freezing ability before tossing it into the Shadow World.

Moments later—

The sealed Mirror Dimension appeared briefly in front of Magneto and the others.

Then it vanished.
